So far as I can tell, these really are stainless steel. They are certainly better made than others that look very similar in product photographs. The higher price is justified.

Arrived quickly and work as expected. The screw spins VERY easily, so if you are planning to use these on something and don't want to have to adjust them often to latch properly I recommend using red Loctite to avoid the screws loosening.

Bought these to add to engine cover of a mini excavator and ddi not want rust to form as we live in a rusty enviroment. They work great and are adjustable.

These items were sold as NEW. They came used with epoxy/JB weld or some other adhesive on them. The holes on two of the pieces are completely closed off. Will they clean...who knows.

I was looking for something a bit less "gaudy" to securely close the freezer door. Works perfect, the catch on the door and the latch on the side panel using #8x5/8 and #10x3/4, respectively.
