We have used many walk-thru gates in 40 years of kids and pets. This is by far the easiest to install, and the most secure to use. It clicks shut, and opens easily. We did 2 installations, using one, and both extensions, and it worked perfectly both ways. You may need a magnifying glass to follow the instructions!

I was hesitant to buy a gate because I was concerned about it fitting well where I need it. I have baseboards so I wasn't sure if it would install correctly because of the differences in length between the baseboards at the bottom and the wall at the top. It did. It's very snug and sturdy.The gate looks really nice too. Much better than those plastic ones.One thing to consider. This gate is designed to be at least semi-permanent. You can move it if you need to but it's not one to put up and take down daily. If that's what you need I'd look for a different model.Operation is a simple and one-handed.Installation was a breeze. Just measure, choose if you need to use 1 or both inserts (or none) and the rest is common sense. I did not choose to do the more permanent method of Installation (drilling holes to set the gate in the wall) but that seemed pretty straightforward too.I'm happy with the purchase. It fits my needs.

Exactly what I was looking for! Easy to assemble based on the measured space. Very sturdy, even with our baseboards. Love that send extra pieces to make it work with various spaces and needs. The YouTube video was helpful. Love the automatic close and leave open option for after the baby goes to sleep. 10/10

Game over! I finally found a baby/pet gate that meets all my specifications. My sister and I installed this in less than 15 minutes using the pressure mounted install. The instructions include written and illustrated steps. There is hardware for mounting permanently as well as for mounting at top or bottom of the stairs. I appreciate the base piece that protects my hardware floor as well as provides additional stability for the gate. The gate is easy to open and swings in either direction as well as stays open if desired. I used to have a gate that automatically swung shut and latched, making carrying a basket of laundry through the gate an olympic challenge. Highly recommend this gate!

This gate is top notch. Very easy to install and I love the little ramp over the bottom rail. My mother-in-law has a walker, and it helps to her to get over it. Extremely sturdy. Also really like that the door stays open and then closed by itself when it is at a certain point. I use it to keep my dogs out places that I don't want them. I wish I had one like this when my kiddos were little.

We are using this with a new puppy that we don't want going to our lower level. It looks nice, works great, door swings both ways, & door stays open if you push it all the way open. Otherwise, it will swing shut. So far, we are thoroughly happy with this product.
