Upon checking out the unit, I was pleased with what was included and the booklet is a great guide for first timers setting up an electric fence. I do wish that since the "2 second" interval showed up on the screen that it was an adjustable feature, but I'm not aware of a box where that IS adjustable. Would just be nice to see that "2" become a "1.5" or less regardless of the power consumption since it CAN be DC charged. I'm doubtful without opening up the housing that there's a lithium battery in the unit. I figured instead of putting the unit out to solar charge initially, that using the wall charger would be a faster way to go. Boy was I wrong. Based on the Ah and amperage of the charger, I figured it'd be charged up in 5 hours tops. Going on hour 4 and it's not even at 60%. Gives me major doubt that after a cloudy day this unit will be able to recharge itself even with a full day of sun. I hope once it's fully charged that the performance will outweigh the slow initial charge up.
