Product Description

Current Sensing Switch
Current Sensor

Analysis

1. Potentiometer: Adjust the current threshold value, adjust it higher in H direction and lower in L direction.

2. Indicator light: red light, the contact is on; green light, the contact is off.

3. Contact capacity: in any case shall not exceed 0.3A@240V AC/DC.

4. Output contact: dry node, output switching signal

Product Basic Function

Normally open type: outputs a closing signal when the perforation current exceeds the set value. When below the set value, the switch resets and outputs a disconnect signal.

Normally closed type:When the perforation current exceeds the set value, output disconnect signal. When it is lower than the set value, the switch resets and outputs a closed signal.

I like the variable sensitivity. Can also loop an AC leg through the device more than once to increase current sensitivity. The LEDs (powered by AC induction) showing the relay on/off state make problem diagnosis or system calibration much easier.

I needed a way to automatically turn on peripheral audio equipment when my stereo was turned on.I was concerned that the idle-ON current of my stereo would would be too low to sense but it had no problem with plenty of adjustment.PRO: Worked just fine for my application. Has a wide range of current sensitivity adjustment.CON: Minor inconveniences;- The status LED indicators worked backwards from common convention. Red indicated the output was ON and green indicated the output was OFF.- The current sensitivity potentiometer was difficult to adjust because of the physical smallness of the adjustment screw. It came with a tiny adjustment screwdriver but it was hard to position and hard to keep in the screw slot.

Works as advertised and is small (doesn't take up space). I wanted to detect each time a pump ran which then went to a totalizer/counter. Worked perfectly!

Worked perfect for current sensing logic on my ESP8266. Adjustable trigger point. (They give you a tiny screwdriver for adjusting it.) Self powered LEDs. A couple mounting screws, and a manual showing wiring diagrams for several different applications. Yeah!

Great little device! I bought 5 of these to automate the opening of my blast gates when a power tool turns on in my home workshop. One of 5 did not work; it was replaced the next day. Now they all operate as expected and I am a happy wood worker.
