The class 3 hitch is specifically designed to fit certain years of the Dodge Grand Caravan or the Chrysler Town and Country. It offers a custom fit and is rated for up to 4, 000 lbs. GTW and 400 lbs. TW, as well as 5, 000 lbs. WD and 500 lbs. WDTW (limited to lowest-rated towing component). It features a standard 2" hitch receiver and is tested in accordance with SAE J684 for safety. It also has industry-leading rust resistance, inside and out, with its co-cured liquid Bonderite and powder coat finish. Included with this class 3 hitch is a custom trailer wiring harness for the vehicle. The wiring harness equips the Dodge Grand Caravan or Chrysler Town and Country with a standard 4-pin trailer wiring harness, and it requires no splicing for installation. It is also built with SMT circuitry and a potted enclosure for maximum longevity.

Easy to install. Parts were in great condition. Took just under 2 hours to install both the hitch and wire harness. Already used it and I have zero complaints. Definitely worth the money.

This is exactly what you would expect. If you don't have any good torque tools don't expect to install this very easily and if you live in the rust belt it is worth it to take to a shop to install so you don't break any bolts. But overall a 10/10 on product quality. I wouldn't have expected anything less from a CURT receiver. The install was a little tricky but I love in Nebraska and broke a bolt. Otherwise really straight forward on where it goes and how to get it working. Love this product.

After receiving multiple quotes, all over $600 for parts and labor, with a 3 week wait for parts to arrive, I decided to just order it and install it ourselves.The hardest part was muscling the hitch into place. The tools needed are minimal and simple. You will need ramps/jack stands (mechanic responsibly).Honestly, it was probably the easiest vehicle work I've ever done.

This arrived in a big heavy box because it's a big heavy duty hitch. Kind of overkill for my minivan. Required a bit of vehicle disassembly, but ultimately it fit, and it's a real class 3 hitch (bordering on class 4).

Updated Review: the company corrected the mistake and refunded the cost of the wiring harness. very happy with the product.Original review was one star. The wiring harness did not match my vehicle even though amazon said they were compatible which means I can't legally haul the trailer anywhere. I'm supposed to haul the trailer this coming Friday, I gave myself a week to spare in case install was difficult. Zero response from customer service on the weekend which is fine if you don't ship the wrong product...but is annoying if you ship the wrong one. 1st image - vehicle plug 2009 dodge grand caravan.Amazon says this product is compatible, packaging on harness says is compatible. Packaging was taped together from shipper. 2nd picture is what was in the package. Definitely not compatible.

Great product. The hitch receiver was easy to install. The kit comes with everything needed to wire in to my 2013 town and country.

Perfect fit and solid. Only problem is the manufactures nut welds broke when we were removing bolts for the five attachment points on the van. This was nothing to do with the part, but I would recommend rewelding the manufactures nuts before attaching the hitch.

The hitch fit no problem. I had a problem with the wiring kit. One side wasn’t working and it was too much of a pain to send it back to the manufacturer and to get it back ended up just buying one from a local store.
