A good example of "you get what you pay for". The price caused hesitation, but the first snip put a smile on my face and made me glad I purchased. They get into the tight places and make the cuts effortlessly. I wish I had known about them years ago. It actually would have saved me money in the long run. I'm hoping they'll be durable.

These are incredible! I don’t know why I dealt with buying several cheaper alternatives over the many years that only stay sharp enough at the tips for about 3-6 months of use. I wasn’t sure I’d be keeping them because they didn’t appear like they’d be as good as they are when I first unpacked them, but after the first use, I was super impressed with them. I don’t know how long these will stay sharp but right out of the package they’re sharper and able to get into tiny spots that even the best/sharpest/most narrow pointed cheaper flush cutters (Xuron) couldn’t when they’re right out of the package. I also highly recommend this seller because they have fair pricing and are reliable. I’ve ordered several items from them over the years.

Tronex is "the bomb" when it comes to great wire cutters for jewelry. They might be more expensive than other wire cutters you see out there, but they are well worth their price difference! My only warning is to not exceed the recommended maximum recommended wire gauge these (or any other cutters for that matter) are meant to be used for. Pushing those limits is eventually going to damage your cutters and you'll see diminishing returns in the precise cutting performance. Please trust me on this advice as I did push these limits and it did damage my cutters - while those are still quite usable, they cannot make the "in close, tight quarters" nice clean cuts as they used to. This was my bad, not the product's!As an added comment/recommendation, I lent these to a good friend of mine who was having problems with the exactness of her own jewelry wire cutters. After only using 3-4 times (as in only individual cuts) she immediately ordered a pair for herself.

ok, i was a bit reluctant to spend this much on a pair of nippers but I had destroyed all of my flush cutters and wanted to replace them with top notch cutters. I've had this pair for about a week now and they are fantastic. They cut with ease, have comfortable grips. I like that they are tiny at the tips so they can get into tight places. If you are doing a lot of wire wrapping, you should definitely invest in a pair of these. I will never go back to inferior nippers! Very satisfied with these and they are well worth the money. Just do not use them for steel or memory wire!!!

Great nippers. My second pair, one for home, one for the shop. I've had the first pair for 4 years and they're in perfect condition. Would recommend.

I kept seeing these cutters on Youtube videos, so I decided to order one to see if it works as well as others say. The handles are smaller than I expected them to be (I'm used to working with Lindstrom hand tools), ergonomics are important to me and my aging hands. Nevertheless, they cut so easily and efficiently that the smaller handle size isn't really that big an issue - certainly not enough for me to return them. They were shipped quickly and were in town ahead of schedule. Unfortunately, the post office was closed on Sunday, so I couldn't collect them until Monday morning. Sometimes Amazon is TOO efficient!

Wife was using to cut 22 and smaller gauge wire. Tip broke off. Manufacturer sent my warranty call to MicroTools. They refused to honor the warranty claiming the oh so thin silver and gold on copper jewelry wire was larger than tool is rated for at tip. Manufacturer says tip is 4 sizes down from 18 gauge rating at throat. Buy the cheap chinese made garbage. Likely will last longer and you won't feel ripped off when it breaks. Worst piece of trash I've every owned.

I love these. They cut clean, perfect every time. I've never had to replace my original pair but wanted a second one for my toolbox (and just in case anything happened to my first pair). I highly recommend these.
