This Storage box is Great! My daughterUses it as a toy box ,shoes storage & bench ,Perfect for her stuffed animals too, It is so convenient for her to sit on and take off the dirty shoes when coming in the house. It looks very nice on the outside and very sturdy , comfortable to sit on. It’s pretty for the doorway of a house.I'm very happy with the purchase. Overall It's serving it's purpose ! Highly recommended !

This storage bench is a great addition to my home! It was easy to set up, and the build quality is solid. The fabric feels nice, and the lid opens smoothly, providing plenty of space inside for blankets and other items. It's sturdy enough to sit on comfortably, and the navy color fits well with my decor. I have it at the foot of my bed and I store off season blankets in it. My bed is on a box spring and my mattress and it hits perfectly. I’m not sure it would look good next to a bed that is much higher off the floor. It’s not the most durable looking thing while putting it together but it hold my weight to sit on (120 lbs). I don’t make a habit to sit on it though. It’s more for decoration and storage. It’s definitely not something I would use for seating.

UPDATE, 15AUG: After contacting customer service and getting in contact with the company, Cuyoka, Ms. Lea assisted me and provided AMAZING and ABOVE-AND-BEYOND customer service to help me!!!! Somehow they found a replacement item that is more suited and PERFECT! It is so gorgeous and unexpected! While the first bench may have had some issues, it seems like my experience was perhaps not the norm (judging by the other reviews and considering all of that together).***** This is a very trustworthy and good company to do business with! *****I loved this bench at first - great size and color. When I first bought the bench, it sat against a bedroom wall and was used to store a few items for over about a year. I barely touched it in months. During that time, no one sat on the bench or otherwise moved its contents. However, when I put it into my RV and began actually using it, in a matter of weeks, dangerous staples were exposed along all the edges of the top. The edges that form the lid that is the top portion of the bench came loose. After not too long, it was all of the strips that came loose and had to be removed for safety reasons. The top as well as those edges are made of a thick cardboard-type material which is then padded along the outer edge and adhered with staples to create a lid. Since the top is split to allow for access on either side, you have three stapled-on strips on either side forming the lid. This would seem like great design if made out of any other material! Well, ALL SIX of those strips worked their way out of the top portion of cardboard. The fabric also came undone. As such, many exposed staples poked through and became hazardous. Some of the staples fell out as well! This presents concerns with children and/or pets among others.It is possible that I received a defective bench. If so, I wish I could receive a new product to compare quality. I know that it's beyond the timeframe, but sometimes a person may not use an item for some time. If my bench is how they all are made (though I cannot imagine that is so given the other reviews/high ratings), I would *highly* suggest that the manufacturer consider reinforcing with much thicker material on the top, glue, and/or possible a different material (maybe wood). Mine had none of that. :( It's so disappointing, because it is very cute and otherwise would be very functional.While trying to figure out how to throw away these strips with exposed staples after removing from the bench (for safety reasons), I actually injured my hand. I can only imagine if that had happened to someone's foot or rear end (if using as a bench). I'm including those photos for relevance if allowed.I am so sad about this, because I otherwise loved it and found it very useful. :( It says the max weight capacity is 660lbs. No where near that amount of weight has ever been applied to this, and yet my bench started falling apart once I was finally using it! I have been pretty careful with it overall, but it seems that the weakpoints on the one I got were very weak. ***** Please tell me that I got a bad one and that it's possible to replace. *****I need this bench for functionality and storage, but I don't have a way to buy another one at this time. I'm super sad, because I have so many other furniture pieces designed to last many, many years. Please help.

So when I received this I was very impressed, it looked nice, had plenty of storage room and fit perfectly at the end of my bed for my dog to also use as a stepstool up onto my bed. Easy to assemble and I didn't smell anything funny about it like others have said. However, I received it mid May of 2024 and here I am not quite at 5 months of having it and it's falling apart and became almost useless. Staples starting poking out of it and it's not nearly as sturdy as when I first got it. The top on one side kept falling into the inside of it the more it was used and doesn't stay on top anymore and has exposed staples that are sharp. My husband actually took some real wood and attached underneath of the lid to reinforce it so it would stay up where it belonged and still be functional. So it is very nice looking and has plenty of storage but it is not very durable to only have lasted almost 5 months before starting to fall apart. It wasn't very expensive so I guess you get what you pay for...

Not too long ago, I bought a fabric box stand to hold all the toys in the living room. The thing was bulging and looked terrible and my son tried to stand on it and fell into the box. I saw this and kept looking at it for months. Finally, I bought it. Wow First of all, it looks like a real bench. It's sturdy and holds toys without bulging out. You can sit on the cover and my son can easily lift up the sides (he's 4) and remove the whole cover as needed. I never knew what that metal thing was for until I realized it was like a little divider so he could organize his toys. He doesn't do that, but he could. I'm seriously considering getting another one because it looks pretty and I can still put blankets in it.

Comfy. Simple to assemble. Price is okay.If it was 2 more inches taller it be perfect but maybe my hair is tall also too.
