EASY TO OPERATE
- 1.Before the compression test, run the engine till it reaches normal temperature and stop the engine.
- 2.Disconnect all the spark plug wires, clean the dirt around and remove the spark plugs. Remove the air filter and fully open the throttle. Disconnect the ignition system.
- 3.Tightly insert aluminium rod rubber cone adapter into the tested cylinder's spark plug well. Or you can test the cylinder pressure by screwing the right size dedicated adapter, hand tighten only, do not by a wrench.
- 4.Observe the gauge and record after the pointer stabilizes. Press the release valve to zero position. Repeat the test, do it at least twice for each cylinder and take the average of the values.
- 5.If the measured cylinder pressure is within the vehicle manufacturer's specifications, and the readings are not vary by more than 10% from cylinder to cylinder, then there is no problem for the engine compression. (A variation in compression readings between cylinders is often a better indication of engine problems than the absolute values of compression.)
USAGE AND FUNCTION
JIFETOR engine cylinder compression measuring meter tool set is perfect for checking compression pressure on most gasoline/gas/fuel engine cylinder, but not suitable for most diesel engine because of the low pressure range 0-300PSI.

As soon as the package was delivered I popped the box open an was able to get compression readings on my sons car. Eezy Peezy to use, especially on engines with deep spark plug access.

Some double cam engines don't like a twirling flex hose shoved down those dark tubes, looking for a bite.

Quality looks excellent. I will be creating a centering donut to reduce side loading on the extensions when screwed into aluminum head.

I thought I would pay a little more than some of the other like kind products to get better quality. Do not waste your time considering this pressure set. Did not come close to being accurate. I tried both the compression tip and the screw-in and got 60 lbs. difference. The compression tip was at least closer to accurate.
