Use this for my outboard. Easy to use. Cannot speak for it's exact accuracy but it was close enough to tell I ad not major compression problem.

I needed at cylinder compression tester, I’m not a professional mechanic. So I didn’t want to spend the money on a high dollar unit. I really like having a case that holds all the different fittings. Plus helps to store it while not in use. Oh and the gushed it’s perfect size for those of us that don’t want to stress their eye’s trying to read the numbers.

My old (REALLY old) Hawk compression tester only fit 2 sizes and the gauge was permanently connected to the hose, making it always a pain to get threaded into the plug hole. The Hawk was MIA, so I ordered this kit with a quick-disconnect gauge. Works like a charm.

Does not hold a accurate reading without leaking. I don’t trust it and would not buy it again. It’s to late to return it but it didn’t work since day one....Update they sent me my money back after I contacted them when they didn’t have too. Can’t knock the seller I will use money to try another and see if this one is better.

I used this compression tester on my ATV, lawnmower and weed wacker and it works quite well. I like that this kit includes 4 different sizes of threaded adapters which are helpful for taking pressure readings without having to hold the gauge on the cylinder while turning over the engine. Something I noticed is that using the rubber adapters also tends to give an inaccurate reading as air will leak out of the top side of them depending on the PSI.The gauge has large numbers that are easy to see and the quick release chuck is easy to use for changing the adapters. I also like that the gauge has a check valve so it will hold the reading until I release the pressure.Overall this gauge is consistently accurate when compared with my other compression tester and is helpful to use for diagnosing engine issues. All of the adapters are made of steel with a brass plating and the gauge has a rubber over molding for added durability. The blow molded storage case isn't overly bulky and it securely holds everything together as a set.
