Product seems like it would hold up in the long run and I like that it has all the necessary wiring to properly hook it up. Harness included all needed connections and an inline fuse. Blue light isn’t too bright for night time riding.

When you plug something in, it stops reading system voltage and starts reading the voltage it is supplying to whatever it is powering. It works to add a power port, and when not in use it is a good gauge for system voltage.

Light for voltage isn't too bright, just right, seems accurate. Charges my phone not "rapidly" but not "slow". USB ports themselves are not lit, but the display lights without an illumination wire. Just has power and ground. I removed the cover/plug piece and mounted it in a useless cubbyhole in my truck. Always displays the voltage of the vehicle, not what your charging like someone said. Switch is keyed kinda weird which makes making a mounting plate or dash cutout kinda tricky. Quick install. Happy with it. Modernized my 2007 truck a bit. No more cigarette lighter charger for me. Volt meter is handy.

This product would have gotten five stars but it was too wide to fit in the factory rocker switch hole on my Kubota sidekick. I had too file on the rocker switch hole and was able to install without much trouble. USB works good it charged my phone quickly and without issue. The LCD display looks good and is bright.

I ordered these rather than similar rocker-switch style USB charger/voltmeters because they had a red display, which would be better for my night vision and better match other instrumentation color in my vehicle. They were also slightly less expensive per unit than ones sold as single units.I’ve previously purchased and installed very similar units with a blue LED voltmeter display. Unfortunately, the voltage displayed on these red units fluctuates when a phone drawing a charging current of ~0.5A is plugged in. The fluctuations occurred during bench testing using a well-regulated power supply that showed no fluctuation in output voltage. Because the 0.3 to 0.5V fluctuation (when powered with 13.0V) complicates monitoring battery drain, I’ll be returning the units as defective. Others have posted questions about the fluctuating voltage. I’m confident this behavior is not due to wire size. Wire voltage drop would be constant at constant current draw. It would also be much less than 0.3V at the 0.5A current I tested. The other blue LED units I purchased didn’t show fluctuations when charging a variety of USB devices, however many of them display current rather than voltage when more than about 0.2A of current is drawn from the USB ports. The fluctuation in the red device voltage is likely due to problems with capacitors or the feedback circuit inside the devices. The fluctuation in displayed red output voltage did not cause the total current drawn by the devices to fluctuate.When USB cables aren’t plugged in, the voltage display was stable and within 1% accurate for the two units I tested over an input voltage range of 8 to 24V. Without USB current draw, the chargers draw approximately 15mA when powered at 13V and 9mA when powered at 24V.

Works as advertised. Volt meter reads as accurate as dashboard on SxS and USB ports work great. Only had it for a few months now but so far no issues.
