This blanket is very soft but heavy weight and gets very warm. The timer is also nice so if you fall asleep it shuts itself off.

I had purchased another electric blanket I had to return because I thought it was machine washable but the functions on the blanket to clean it were not explained well, and hardly any feedback from customers. Since I'm a kind of clean freak, I wanted to share more details on that with this blanket. Easily removed the Control Connector then washed it with Tide in the washing machine on warm. One instruction said do not tumble dry; another tag said tumble dry for 5 minutes. Figured that wouldn't do much so after washing I just draped it over two chairbacks and the next morning it was perfectly dry. Plugged it in and works perfectly. Love that you have 6 choices of heat, and love more that it is absolutely SO soft and cozy. It's a perfect throw size to drape around your legs while watching TV or reading. So I'm really pleased and hope this helps others with the cleaning/drying piece.

It’s soft fleece blanket and heats up hot! I have to remove it or turn it down because it is hot. I recommend for anyone that suffers from arthritis pains. It’s a medium blanket I should have ordered a bigger one but this is worth it’s money. I washed in in the washer and dryer and no problems after. It detaches from the heat hook in order to wash. I highly recommend.

The blanket is very soft and plush. But, it does not heat up properly. The only spot on the blanket that heats is in the plug area. I've tried all heat settings; even on the highest setting, it's not warm. I would return it but unfortunately, by the time I used it for the first time, it was past the 30-day return date. It's a shame because it would be a nice blanket if it heated like it should.

Put this thing on two and it gets really hot. Used it for close to a year , before it quit working.

Love the color and being able to dial heat setting up or down. Has automatic shut off which is great if you happen to fall asleep with it on.
