Big fan of this particular material, there's lots of stuff out there that hardens on impact (SPD, D3O etc.) I have been the most impressed with this dk impact foam ever since picking up some knee pads from Dakine. I finally pulled the trigger to pick up a slab of this stuff and am very happy I did, fits in my osprey raptor and it's light. The description may be misleading, I actually received a CE EN 1621-2 (highest) certified product, so that's cool.

I’ve been cutting loose on rails and boxes with this. I’ve slipped out on my back and few times and it def works.

perfect size to put in your hydration backpack, adding spine protection. i have these in a both 6L and 3L EVOC Stage bags. reasonably light, and very flexible once the material warms up.

The item itself is great, very comfortable, light weight, and works well. My problem is it doesn't fit the 2023 Poacher 14L it's small and slides around all over. I'm not sure if that's all the models of that year but customer service said 2024 the correct size will come out.

Haven’t used it yet. Worthwhile weight addition. Can’t know the effectiveness until taking a particular type of fall, which I hope will never happens. Fits perfectly in an Osprey Raptor 14.

Really well made- flexible but quite thick (good thing). Has a subtle groove along the centre to align with the spine. Fits securely into my Dakine backpack (designed to hold this protector). Eager to try out this coming season.

It fits in my Dakine RAS Vest 15It’s heavier than I thoughtI could order a splint board from an EMS supply website for less money and less weight in the pack.Moves around within “spine protector pocket†and can create an awkward fit where you need to take off the pack and readjust.

Two items delivered today. Left outside electric gate with no contact to house via intercom which as 50cm above where the parcels were left, exposed to strong winds, rain, and theft. Luckily neighbour found them and contacted us.

Seit letzter Saison fahre ich nur noch mit Rückenprotektor, dieser ist in üblichen Form als Weste für unter der Skijacke gearbeitet. In Kombination mit einem Rucksack wird das für meinen Geschmack nur sehr unangenehm und ich habe nach einer Alternative gesucht.Da ich bereits einen Protektor kompatiblen Dakine Rucksack besitze, war damit schnell eine Option zu finden, der Protektor an sich ist jedoch gar nicht so einfach aufzutreiben gewesen.Sehr angenehm beim fahren, der Test im Ernstfall steht zum Glück noch aus.
