So, I first purchased ONLY the back protector for $15. It came with a giant rip in the middle where it was clearly folded on itself, and came in soft packaging by USPS. This was unsatisfactory so I returned it and cautiously went with this set.The first thing is that these are SOFT and very pliable. Very good, I believe it is D30 material however I am unsure. It is definitely an improvement over stock.Everything was packed well in a nice box this time and I was happy. My only grips / caveat with this set is that the elbow protectors are JUST a smidge too large for my Bilt Techno 2.0 jacket. I was able to get them in with no trimming however the armor curls on itself due to the size being a bit tight at the top. Still workable - and every other piece fits fine in this jacket, just not the elbows.Overall I am very satisfied for the price and this is a more than worthwhile upgrade for anyone doing even casual riding. The comfort level is top notch and I can barely feel these things installed on my jacket.

I bought this set to upgrade some of the armor in my Joe Rocket Atomic 5.0 jacket. I feel the back protector is beefier and thicker than the standard foam one that came with the jacket; however it is slightly smaller. Seems to fit ok though.I replaced the elbows and I appreciate the greater flexibility the viscoelastic armor provides.I originally replaced the jackets original shoulder armor with the one from the set, but I wound up placing the old armor back in. The original Joe Rocket armor is anatomically correct with left and right individual shoulder pads which I feel sat more naturally on my shoulders. This kit's should pads are symmetrical so they don't sit as nicely, but if you wanted to use them you'd likely be fine; they will mold to your shoulders.The pads themselves have uniform thickness, texture and responsiveness. Just swapping out the back and elbow is a nice upgrade and make the kit worth it for me. Wish Joe Rocket would offer this type of armor in their jackets or at least offer it as a option in the future.

Arrived on time. The pads are lighter than the originals, more flexible and appear sturdier. They installed into the appropriate pockets easily. I am confident that they will not crumble with exposure to sun. So far I am happy with the purchase
