I've had about a dozen of these over the years. They wear out (as expected) and apart from one that broke on the first session, they've always been great.

It’s a good solid leash but still tends to tangle

Fits great, works great, until it snaps. On my third. Last 2 times it snapped was the same spot; where the leash comes into the ankle strap. Last one I tied the leash around the ankle strap to save from coming in and it then broke on the board end. Was maybe chest/shoulder.

Snapped in 3-4ft surf, had the leash for 4 months but I only surf 4-5 times a month.
