Great lamp but broke after just about 6 months. So if you need it short term awesome. But if not don't waste the money. Very disappointed. Updated: stars, company/seller was phenomenal and worked with us to rectify the situation.

I purchased this Reptile Heat Lamp in March 2023. Yesterday, August 2023, it stopped working. For 5 months, it worked fine. Heat levels, timer . . . Looked well made with ceramic fixture, metal exterior, sturdy clamp . . . Octavia my Olympic Turtle loved it, spending a lot of time doing turtle calisthenics on her floating basking platform - Then bam, it shut off. At first I thought it was just the bulb that had burned out. Okay, short lived bulb. Guest that’s why the seller included 2. Well, the bulb out lived the dang on lamp!Very disappointed.Then I almost bought it again! Good thing Amazon popped up telling me that I had purchased this in March, not even a year of life.âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸Had to update this review to favor the seller. After reading my review, the seller contacted me. I told them what had happened and expressed my disappointment. They in return and without any haggling, gave me a refund. This act of customer service must be commended. There is hope in the world â£ï¸

The heat lamp was very heavy where the bulb screws into. It kept falling into the tank. My sister helped me keep it steady and safe by Attaching the lamp to a planter and propped the lamp up with a sturdy object.

Fit well in my lizard enclosure and seem to be giving off adequate heat. Can't monitor the UVA, but my lizard has been very healthy, so I'm guessing that's adequate as well.

I set it up attached to the side of a snapping turtle aquarium, it worked well for a little bit until the light bulb started to slide out of its place and stopped giving light. I kept having to twist back up till the light started working, it kept doing this till one time it just didn't work at all. I then thought the light was burned out, so when I went to get the spare, it let out an alarming BANG! and started smoking ominously. I disposed of the lamp. what a letdown!

Update: the first lamp has just burned out! Almost a year being used for 8/10h a day (and dimmed down during the night) we can say all day stays on. Changed the aquarium to a 20L and and lights up good the baskin area. Lasted for a long long time and my little res enjoy spending the day basking under its light. Placed the second light bulb that comes In the package, hopefully will last as long 😄Still happy with the product ðŸ˜Got this light for my baby res, it comes with aKit of two light bulbs and lamp which holds with a clip. It remains in place once set, I use it to hold in place the water filter so that’s a plus ðŸ˜ðŸ˜So far the 25w lamp works on a 10gl tank forA red ear slider and it loves basking under it. It’s very long lasting. Bought this item back in end of may using it 8/10h a day and still going strong.Happy with this product

Es una lámpara muy útil, tiene buen agarre en la pinza y el tronco metálico es bastante firme en la posición que lo dejes. Viene con 2 focos lo cual me sorprendió porque no me habia dado cuenta de eso. A veces se afloja un poco el foco pero solo es cuestión de apretarlo bien. El regulador de luz igual hace que su manejo sea muy fácil.

Excelente lámpara, me gustó porque tiene en boton que te permite controlar la intensidad de la luz, aparte me sorprendió que incluyera dos foquitos. Sin duda un excelente producto!
