Work great as advertise, absorb humid inside car and also removed some bad smell. But holding box is very loose, they are not tight.

Midwestern humidity! I bought this product for the closets, and it really works well.. Another reviewer left a great, detailed review about the set-up and what to expect when using this product, so I won’t repeat it here, but I noticed other customers mentioned having problems with spillage—which can easily happen if the container is in an awkward spot. The lid just rests on the top, and even though the tablet holder/drainage section snaps into place, if the lid comes off when handling it, it’s easy to have the whole thing slip and dump the collected moisture (now mixed with the tablet gook) all over the place. The gunk is pretty much impossible to clean up properly. If it dumps out on carpet, shampooing the carpet is the only way to get it cleaned up. It holds a LOT of moisture so you don’t want it to dump out.To get around this, I bought some of those clear plastic pantry/fridge organizer bins with the built in handles (available on Amazon), and place each damp rid unit into a bin. This prevents the units from being bumped and tipping over in the closet, and makes it easy to handle the units when it’s time to pull them out of the closet to dump the collected moisture. I use a 9â€L x 5â€W x 4â€H bin (which narrows to 8.4 L x 4.3W at the bottom), and the damp rid unit sits in there perfectly. Makes it so easy to carry the unit to where you can dump the moisture! Pour slowly at first—the shape and length of the dumping tube makes the stuff shoot out a little further than you expect. As one reviewer mentioned, wait until the tablet is completely used up before replacing it. The tablet turns into a gloppy goo as it does its work, so it’s messy to deal with until it’s used up. I really prefer this system to the loose granules or the packets which left crystallized chunks clinging to the container that would pop out after the liquid was dumped, and get everywhere. I really like how much easier and cleaner it is to dump out the liquid and replace the tablet, and how much dampness it collects before needing to replace the tablet.

I have one in each bathroom and they work great. Wicks moisture w/a light pleasant scent. Tabs melt n get kinda goopy, though.

I keep my dirty laundry in a tote in my clothes closet, as well as my shoes. It's hot and humid in summer in Chicago, and it was like a boy's locker room in there. I was also afraid my clean clothes were picking up the smell. I bought this thing, and it really handled it, and pretty quickly. I was unable to get the unscented, so there is a chemical smell, but it stays in my closet, and is not heavy, and it is better than the damp stank that was in there before. I bought the refills in unscented, so I hope those work as well as these. The container for the tablet is kind of big, like a football, but not too big for my deep-but-narrow closet, and it works very well for that size of a space.

My boyfriend rented his house out while he was living out of state and the renters ruined the bathroom! After moving back in we noticed there is a big water problem in one of the bathrooms. No leaking water but felt extremely damp. In the summer it stinks so bad, and if you happen to leave the door shut when you open the door after a while the mirror looks like someone had been taking a shower it’s so fogged up. Before we can get around to tearing it all apart and fix this issue I came across damp rid. Figured it couldn’t hurt!! It’s been in there 2 days and already a huge improvement! It does not feel nearly as damp!! I can’t speak on the smell yet. I got the “fresh†scent and not a fan of it.. but generally do not like those fresh scents anyway. I’d love if they came out with a lemon scented or something like that! But the bathroom does not stink quite as bad as it does in the summer though that could also be to cooling weather.. either way, we are happy with this thing! Does the job making it feel so much better and I love that it does not take electric or batteries and it’s fairly small so it does not take up much room!

i bought the fresh scent after using the 'no scent' version of this product. the product really does take moisture out of the air on our boat. i think i had in mind that it would smell like the fresh linen scent so poular in laundry products. I have now used the first one, and it smells very much like lavatory disinfectant. I hope i can get the other 3 used when no one will be on the boat. the product itself works in a 5 star way. however, buy the 'no scent' variety. I should have waited for it, but the fresh scent was available the same day and i thought it would be a nice change. Next time i will wait.

This is an amazing product, after having it setup for 3 weeks, the tablet was gone and the water was the proof! Living in NC the humidity is bad, and these are a can’t live without!*My base had a tiny crack in it, that I didn’t see until after use, so be sure to check yours out for damage in shipping.

The unscented is great. The scented ones left everything around them smelling like chemicals. Does a good job under my bathroom sink.

I use this in a room that doesn't get much light and this works wonderfully. The pucks last a good three to five months depending on the time of year and humidity levels. It's wise to order an extra set of pucks so that you have them on hand.

Es de gran ayuda en sitios húmedos, solo me duró 15 dÃas. Lo único que no me agrada es que no dispone Amazon en venta las pastillas para reutilizar el recipiente y otorgar tx continuo preventivo a las áreas.No asà para estar recomprandolo cada mes, llenarme de dispositivos de plastico. Claro que lo recomiendo, efectivo.. Pero ojala vendan las pastillas para continuar adquiriendo el producto.

Excelente producto, lo puse en el baño para que absorba la húmedad que genera la regadera, y desde que lo instale las paredes del baño se secan mas rápido. El producto tiene un aroma de limpio, pero no es fuerte el aroma, asà que no hay inconveniente en que aturda o enfade el aroma.
