I'm not sure what the "plumber" below is complaining about but this thing works great. Super smooth rotation, solid feel, no leaks. Note you can change the rotation of this unit by removing the top C-lock pin and flipping the "key" upside down. That way it works for both hot and cold water sides. Helpful? Thumbs up please!

This was exactly the part I needed. However, there were no directions as to how to change it from a cold water stem to one for hot water. I had to figure it out.

The hot and cold are the same , On lever units you have to reverse the worm gear on the hot side.

It can only be used for hot side. If you reverse it to use for cold side, it keeps dropping. So its not keyed correctly for both hot and cold.
