Perfect replacement for my shower knob button. The previous one I had was old, brittle and broke. This one popped right in and fit perfectly in its place.

This item is not as described. This item has a base that measures 13/16" wide. It will be too small and fall out of a faucet which requires a cap with a base width of 15/16". The overall width of this cap (the top) is about 15/16" (even though it says it is 1" on the package). Do not buy this item if you need a 15/16" base to fit into your faucet hole.

I did some research and it seemed these would fit my faucets. I wasn't sure until they arrived. They fit fine. They are a common size.These are hard to find at home and hardware stores so it's nice they are available through Amazon.They are cheap plastic and may fall out eventually again. When they do, the flimsy plastic flanges will be brittle and break off. I would be willing to pay more for a set with sturdy, adjustable metal flanges. But that product does not exist. I'm just glad I was able to get these without driving around town.

Exact match to old Price Pfister caps that are hard to find at any local hardware stores. Only needed the hot water cap but ordered, fast receipt and done! Perfect fit.
