I own 2 pair of the crew socks that I have had for a couple years that are a mix of different colors (woodsy colors) with a bear on the side. Mine are very fitting around the arch and leg. I love how cute they are! I wear them all seasons to work and everyday. I Received as a gift. This pair is for my husband. I was worried he’ll have problems with them being too tight around the leg and biting into him but these are not. He wears a size 11 to a 11 half shoe (US) and the socks are for a 10- 12. He usually wears looser socks such as diabetic or stretchy types socks because he has a hard time bending over and getting them on too. (He is 73 and a big guy). These Darn Tough Vermont socks are 63% merino wool to keep his cold feed warm and comfy and they have a cushion sole.

These socks are very nice. They are definitely pricey. We gave them at Christmas to our three adult sons. They all work on their feet all day for work and they told me they are very comfortable.

These hiking socks are built to last! I’ve worn them on multiple long hikes, and they’ve held up amazingly—no holes, no thinning, and they still feel just as comfortable as when I first got them. The fabric is thick but breathable, providing great cushioning without making my feet too hot. Even after several washes, they haven’t lost their shape or softness. If you need tough, long-lasting socks for outdoor adventures, these are worth it.

9¼" tall. Fits true to size. XXL won't be wider just longer. I'm a 13 and they're a little snug but quality with a lifetime warranty. I suppose this would clear an 8" boot by about an inch if you don't like really tall socks. Lots of color options. Saving these few I ordered for my custom boots to be made. Nice padding on the bottom. Worth having for sure

I bought my my first pair of Darn Tough socks about 5 years ago. At the time, I couldn't see why anyone would pay that amount for a pair of socks, I get it now. Fast forward to the present, every pair of socks in my sock drawer have one thing in common, they're made by Darn Tough. If you're on the fence about buying a pair of these socks because of the cost, just buy them and you'll get it too. These socks are the most comfortable, the best for wicking moisture and the longest lasting socks that I've ever owned. I cannot recommend one brand of anything higher than Darn Tough. I HIGHLY reccomend this brand of socks, you'll thank me later.
