Warm, comfortable wool blend socks. Seem to be well made, although I have not used them for hiking, so I can’t attest to their durability as a hiking sock.

These are as stated mid weight. They are not so thick as wool winter socks but thicker than dress socks. Using the size chart, I ordered XL for my size 12 1/2 feet and it is a good fit. They are of mid calf length. Unfortunately there are some loose threads on the upper part--at least on the one pair I tried on--and an area where stitching shows through.
