You will note that I have given the product a maximum rating. It appears identical to the factory assembly and I found it easy to install and works perfectly. I'll suggest watching some YouTube videos on the installation before you proceed. I actually watched two or three, as some of the video makers leave out certain details (like how to remove the door panel) as they don't realize that their job in doing a video it to EXPLAIN THE OBVIOUS.Now, with all that said.........Houston, we have a problem........Given that FIAT owns Ferrari & provides engines to other Formula 1 racing teams, I think maybe they had the "B" team doing window regulator design. Don't get me wrong, I love my 2013 Fiat 500 Abarth. It's more fun than a barrel of monkeys and is like driving a street-legal little race car. And it gets 35 mpg on the highway? However. I am now on my 4th window regulator replacement. At this point I have decided to do this sort of work myself. At the present this is a place holder to see if I can get Amazon to post my full review. So far they have ignored my reviews that I have submitted.OK, gonna add some more content as an update....If you read the clip reviews elsewhere, you will discover that the window regulator is not the issue - but the itsy-bitsy guide clip on the edge of the window is the issue. Oh, you didn't know about the guide clip? Silly you. This guide clip lives on the upper, rearmost edge of the door windows. To keep the window regulator simple and lightweight, the regulator only supports the window at the center of the bottom of the window. Now, after replacing my regulator, I discovered that my clip was broken, and the regulator then causes the window to cock in the channels at the front and rear of the window, causing it to jam - and then destroy the part of the regulator where it attaches to the window. So, the failure of a little $8 plastic part destroys the $50 regulator, and puts your car out of commission until you can get it into the shop, and replace the flawed clip and regulator with another flawed clip and regulator. I'm a skilled mechanic, and I could not get the clip installed. This review started as a review of the little plastic clip - but I realized that it ought to be part of the review of the regulator. My replacement is not going to be so flawed. Here's the deal. I noted in more than one of the reviews that folks had difficulties installing the clip. One person explained that he drilled out the holes in the clip where the pin fits ever so slightly. That's a good idea, and one that I am doing as well. I'm a skilled mechanic, and I could not get the clip installed! Now, in thinking this over, I am realizing that this whole power window system depends on a little 3 mm diameter plastic pin that goes through the plastic clip and through a small hole along the edge of the window. I note that the handles on my shower doors are extruded aluminum with a slot in the extrusion that matches the width of the glass. These are held on with glue. I have used E6000 glue to re-install one or two of these, so.......... Why not glue the cheapo plastic clip to the window glass? Hmm, no reason not to, so that is my plan. Film at 11.

Installed myself in my daughters 2015 Fiat 500e. Installed about 3 weeks ago and works as promised. I recommend replacing your old one as soon as it starts making noises. After it breaks and the window falls in the door it takes a lot longer to complete the job, extra 30 minutes at least. Otherwise it should take you a very calm hour at most.

Bought both driver and passenger door regulators when the plastic parts cracked. Since my vehicle is more than ten years old, thought it was worth changing out the entire regulator instead of just the broken part. Had them installed. Both work the same as the OEM.

If you take your time on installation and follow precautions like using heavy duty to to hold the window in the up position when replacing - you’ll have zero issues. I also like that the motor and regulator are sold as one. I’ve purchased and replaced for both doors now. They work beautifully.

It came in one piece, value for money. It fits nicely in my Fiat 500.

Installed the window motor assembly, and within 4-5 times of the window going up and down, the clip that pulls the window back down broke off.I don't recommend this part.
