I ordered this awhile back and it arrived promptly. Unfortunately, the first one was damaged from what appeared to be rough shipping. I sent a message to the seller and they responded that very night, even after hours. After providing a pic of the damage, he assured me that a replacement would be shipped right out, and I promptly received it. Great service! It took me awhile to install the product, I go wide open all the time. My wife's car is a 2011 Yukon, and they commonly have cracks occur in the dash. A factory replacement was huge money wand would require a major removal of the dash; we were not willing to go to that expense. This installed easily, fit perfectly and looks great. The texture is not exactly like factory, but very close, and once it was cleaned and coated with a shine product, it looked great. It comes only with one tube of silicone, and that really isn't enough. Since we had the first cover that was cracked, we used most of both tubes. It's just clear silicone and easy to obtain. We first cleaned the dash and the under side of the cover with denatured alcohol so the silicone would adhere well. We then ran beads on the bottom side of the cover, staying about 1/4" from the edges and openings. Then we put dots in the open areas. We then installed it, and used weights from dumbbells to hold it down overnight. For the flaps that comes down the ends of the dash, we taped them down with duct tape. The tape will leave a residue, but it easily comes off with more denatured alcohol. The next day we took off the weights and tape, cleaned it good with the alcohol, and then coated it and the rest of the dash with tire shine. It looks great and wifey is happy. As long as it holds up, we'll be well pleased.

Looks great, easy to install and color matched very well. Wish I'd found this before using a dash carpet cover.

This dash skin is an excellent fit for my 2012 GMC dash. It fits perfectly and the color is an extremely close match. I would suggest that any DIY person perform a dry fit up (no adhesives) before actual install. You will need 3 or 4 short shower curtain rods to hold the dash skin down tight at the lip of the skin once adhesive is applied. I would also recommend that you purchase an additional tube of adhesive and apply liberally to ensure proper bonding to old dash. You will have to deal with the adhesive smell until fully cured. Bottom line is the dash skin is a great fix to an ugly dash.

Love that I was able to find an affordable solution to the cracked dash in my 2013 Tahoe. The cracks in my dash were popping up/ expanding weekly and made so much noise, I now have no more rattling, have a solid dash and it matches my replacement airbag better than the original looked! Easy to install, highly recommend to anyone looking to restore their cracked dash.

First, as others have mentioned it takes at least twice as much silicone as they provide. I wish I had used even more around the front dash by the windshieldNow the unit is installed and looks great but my Heater/HVAC system is acting up and I need to remove the dash to repair the HVAC system. Guess what, with this installed there is no way to remove the dash. Wish I had thought this out before installation. There are bolts inside the dash under this cover that I no longer have access to. I am sure I could get the silicone to release but I am also sure that I will break the cover trying to do this. Something to think about before buying.

There are cheaper ones out there, but I chose this known brand hoping it would fit better than other dash caps I've installed before. This is the 4th dash cap I've installed on various other vehicles I've owned over the years. I recall 2 of them required extensive trimming and reshaping with a heat gun. I didn't want to go through all that extra work again. So, I paid more for this name brand cap.It is important to test fit before you install. This was about a 95% good fit. I did have to trim 1/8" at 4 small areas at the right and left ends because they were hitting the dash end caps and A pillar weather stripping. Also, I had to heat and bend the tips at the ends slightly so they sit flat against the existing dash. Other than that, everything fit well.Clean your dashboard thoroughly with a good degreaser/dewaxer, such as Prepall. I'm sure at some point, some sort of oily dressing has been applied to your dash. Silicone will not stick to a dirty, oily dash. If you're using something like alcohol, clean it at least 3 times. Alcohol is a pretty weak degreaser.More than enough silicone is provided. I only used 1/2 the tube. If you're having to use the entire tube, you're using too much. Follow the instructions on where to place the silicone. You don't need to cover the whole thing with silicone.Have at least 5 decently heavy books handy to hold the cap down overnight. It comes with little foam blocks to wedge against the windshield to hold down the edges there. Use masking tape to tape down any areas you can secure with tape. You'll definitely want to tape down the right and left ends. I also had to tape down the edge at the center vents. When you're degreasing, make sure you degrease where you plan to stick tape or it won't hold.My only 1 very minor concern, is it overhangs the vents and wood grained dash panels 1/16" to 1/8". If you ever need to remove the vents or paneling you'll need to push edge of the dash cap up a bit to clear that overhang.

2010 Yukon dash was cracking in several places. I removed my tape bandages, cleaned the old dash with alcohol, patched the cracks with the silicone provided. Against my better judgement, I followed the directions, using the provided photo to apply the silicone as directed. Weighted it down with bags of flour and sugar on flat areas and spring loaded adjustable bars to hold the outer edge down firmly. Turned out perfect. Looks like a new dash.

Arrived ahead of scheduled delivery date and in good condition. Follow the provided instructions and this will be less than an hour to install. Great product to cover you crappy cracked GM dashboard. This cover might be a bit glossier that the factory dash.
