Picked this up as a replacement cooling fan for an optical comparator Nice quality with epic longivity. The Dayton is replaced had been running for 60 hours per week since 1999 before finally giving up the ghost. I look forward to another, near 20 years of performance.

I bought this to replace an old Dayton of the same size. I use this to cool my vintage Kenwood amp. Put four felt pads in the corners and set it on the top over the louvers positioning it so it sucks air across the transformer. Keeps the temperature inside much cooler, which is better for the electronic components. This model is good because it adds no motor hum to the audio.
