this brush holder had the base plate mounting holes just off enough to make this a bear to install. after all that the spring would not reach over the brush,I broke the brush trying. I put the old Yahama holder back in and ordered new brushes, installed EZ

The springs that hold the brushes down aren't quite long enough and they don't hold the brushes flush to the amerture. One spring wouldn't hold the brushes down at all and kept popping off. Ended up using my original part and new brushes. I do not recommend this product.
