On 2/21/25 I opened the box for the first time and went and used this auger. First hole went beautiful second one unfortunately not so much. The motor jerked around causing the throttle Handel to snap leaving it inoperable. At this point it was a waste of $300. Amazon days it’s not eligible for returns so I’ve attempted to contact the seller which they make it near impossible to. So I wrote them an email and I’m waiting for a reply. Will update this review in a week if I get contacted by the seller to make this right. Would not reccomend to anyone.Update the problem. They were trying to get me to get a hold of DC house when I need to get a hold of FISTER us. They have offered to replace the motor. Which is exactly what I need Customer Service very helpful and responsive. Once I can test product. I will update you again hopefully with five starsUpdate 2 with a change to 5 stars customer service was great and company made it right and sent me a new motor for this auger. Got home today and it was here so I busted it out and re dug some holes and it works perfect! I will recommend this product to anyone needing a auger!

my ground was too stoney and hard to use this but it was not the tools fault... it started first time and worked well and i well built ... much better than some others slightly under the price of this one...

drilled 50 post holes in two days without issue. my only concern is from day one it will only run with the choke set about half way, It has not affected it's performance at all and it starts quickly.

This is an amazing product! It was a little hard to start initially, but after the initial start it fired right up with a single pull. This had plenty of power to auger a 4 inch hole 36" deep in heavy clay soil like it was nothing. It did get hung up on a few rocks but was easily managed. nice tool!

This little machine is incredible. It is more powerful than necessary and it does the job in literally seconds. After hurricane Ian we had dozens of snapped fence posts so we decided to buy this auger to save some time and backache while replacing them. The machine came through with flying colors, digging hole after hole with ease and little effort. As other have said, beware of roots and rocks, but other than that it digs through the dirt like a knife through butter!When you first start it, pump the ball until gas fills the tube, then, with the choke ON pull the string. Once you get a little sputter, TURN THE CHOKE OFF and pull the string again and it will start instantly. Once it is warm, there is no need to use the choke to restart it. I shut it off frequently while digging for one reason or another, and it always starts right up. And I am using regular gas from the local gas station, again, always adding stabilizer when I mix gas with the oil.Make sure that you empty the gas tank and run out any gas in the carb when you put it away, and always add stabilize to your mix just as an added safety.I would recommend this to anyone who needs to dig a bunch of holes in little time with little effort.We did have a problem with the machine when it was first delivered (delivery damage) and contacted their customer service through amazon. They responded immediately and solved my problem without hesitation. They are responsive and clearly service oriented. In the unlikely event you do have a problem you need not worry, they will work with you until you are satisfied. Lots of praise for the speed and responsiveness.

This is an excellent tool and was awesome at digging post holes for fencing. Very powerful and easily dug through compacted soil. I would highly recommend this product. Very easy to put together and started right up. The mix is 40:1 and I recommend using premium. I did not do this but thinking that adding some foam padding (pool noodles) to handle would be a great way to prevent bruising on legs when you hit a rock!

I have to say I'm completely surprised at their customer service. It's been over a year since I purchased this auger. I didn't use it for what I originally purchased it for, so it's been sitting in my barn unused for over a year. I had issues trying to get it started for the first time and sent them a message with low hopes of getting any help. I ended up actually getting it started yesterday ( I just put in a new plug and lowered amount of fuel in talk, I'm pretty sure I overfilled.)I opened email this a.m. and found a message from seller with advice and also willingness to help if there was an issue with parts. I was shocked because it's been quite some time since my purchase!I will definitely recommend and purchase from this company in the future since they apparently are quite willing to stand behind their products!And by the way, it ran like a charm and did exactly like I needed in minutes instead of using a hole shovel and killing my body and taking all day!

First- On and Off switch. O = Off I = On.Could not find the fuel/oil ratio anywhere in the instructions. Emailed the vendor, this 2 stroke runs on 25:1 up to 30:1. I also contacted tru fuel, they don’t make 30:1. TruFuel response was: It is acceptable to use the 4 cycle trufuel (gray container) and add 2 stroke oil to your desired mixture.Once that was figured out, let’s start this thing and dig some holes! Setting fence posts. Metal Post Masters.Very easy to use. Watch out for roots, rocks, and cement in the ground. Be aware! The auger engages (spins) when the rpms increase. While drilling, pull the auger up, every 6 inches or so to remove the soil. If you don’t, you can get the auger stuck in the hole. It won’t be strong enough to break it loose. You’ll need to disconnect the motor, and unscrew the auger with a pipe wrench. Lucky thing, it is lightweight. The 6†auger worked very nicely. The motor seemed a little weak for the 10†auger, our soil here is pretty clay-like. Drilled 9 holes very quickly. Hand digging took 35-40 minutes per hole. Once set up, you can drill a hole in 5 minutes or less. Saved a ton of time and money.

Product received within 2 weeks.Seller was very accommodating to customize the order.It deserves 5 stars for delivery and customer service.Pending to run the unit and see how well will operate.It seems pretty good manufactured.Booklet should have a schematic to identify location of different levers and their position.Check bolts and nuts before operation and after the first 30minutes of run. Some bolts are not very tight, neither lock washers or locking paint was utilized.

Customer service sucks .. never a responce.. had to purchase the bits required. Would not recomend .Auger works ok but puts out much more gas fumes than my old one
