How To Install

1. Prepare to connect the two wires of the actuator to a 12 volt battery
2.Blue wire to the positive terminal and grey wire to negative terminal will make the actuator extend. To make it retract, just reverse the terminal connections.
3.To simplify the last step, you can prepare a reverse polarity relay or switch (not included) for the actuator. When you want the actuator to extend and retract, just press the switch
4. Your actuator will hold its position when the power is off. It will automatically stop when reaches the end.
5.The actuator has pre-installed inner limit switch, it cannot be adjustable.
6. It comes with mounting brackets.

How to protect your actuator:

1. Please use the 12V DC power adapter
2. Please do not exceed the rated load
3. All the actuators have duty cycle, they are unable to work all the time without stop. The duty cycle of this actuator is 20%. it means that your actuator needs 4 minutes to rest for every 1 minute of work. If the actuator keeps working for long time, the motor is easily burnt out.
4. Please be careful, the actuator not completely waterproof

Widly Use:

Furniture and home application
Hospitals and healthcare
Industrial and construction application
Agricultural machinery

Package Included:

1 X 22" Linear Actuator
2 X Mounting Bracket
1 X Screw Set

Sometimes Amazon is a little weird. Like all reviews, when I started this one Amazon asks to rate certain categories. One of them is "Sheerness", another is "Thickness". Hmm. Well, I can't see through them at all, so they aren't very sheer. For thickness, well...they are the size they stated...so...I guess they're thick enough...Not sure what any of that has to do with being a linear actuator though...Ok, enough silliness.I bought these to automate a storable CNC table made from MDF. The table sits on movable arms which allow it to swivel to vertical then retract against the wall. The table itself is quite heavy as it consists of almost 2 full sheets of 3/4 MDF plus the weight of the CNC itself. I would guess it's easily in the 200lb range. I don't have exact weights and I didn't do the math to figure out how much force the actuators are having to pull and push, but they seem to have plenty of torque for this application. As you can see from the photo, they aren't doing a straight pull, so the forces are complicated. During the parts of travel where they are bearing the most weight, you can hear them straining, but not to the point where they sound over taxed. I am powering them from a 30A 12V power supply, which is probably overkill but I didn't want to blow the supply if they started drawing too much current. The arms pivot on 6 inch "boat chair swivels" which are quite stout.Overall I am quite happy with how the project turned out. I think these were the exact right choice of actuator. Just wish they were a little less expensive.Oh...one more thing...I believe the "stops" can be adjusted, but this requires taking the end cap off the gear housing, which in turn means it must be removed from the mount. I haven't tried to adjust it yet because as you can see, it is kind of a pain in the rear to get access to, especially if trying to fine tune to get it just right. Maybe when I get ambitious I'll give it a shot.

I bought it for a friend for his baler to put his twine on his big round bales. It’s been going strong now for a few years now so it gets 5 stars from me

Hoping the manufacturer reads this. Sadly got set to the side until today. Does not work at all. Was really looking forward to it getting used!
