Used this to move a 3D printer away from the wall, on a sliding shelf. Down click on the latching momentary button moves it out where it stops and turns the printer on, when its done the up click on the button moves it back, switching it off and parking it out of the way. Works great and really adds a cool and wow factor to the shop. See if you get that anywhere for $25.

Most actuators run at speeds that are much too slow for a chute deflector. This guy runs at 51mm/s - 2.00 inches/s. My John Deere has a deflector travel of 3 inches so if I use the original holes this actuator goes through its 3 3 inch stroke in 1.5 sec. This actuator has built in limit switches. In order to take advantage of them, all one needs to do is careful placement of the mounting points. In my case, in order to take advantage of the 4 inch stroke, I must point the upper mounting farther away from the hinge. Most people are not using these actuators at it's maximum. Locate the actuator where it will take the 4 inch stroke. A lot of folks out there should be placing the actuator closer to the hinge.A final note: So many people feel the need to leave the bolts on sides of the shute. Don't need them and they just create needles friction.
