I have purchased three of these power supplies just like this before. They do not like idling current, that is, to be left plugged-in, i’m not using the output current. Mine is for a car stereo that happens to be inside my toolbox. They work for a short time only and then drop down to like 8.7 V. The problem is they only last outside the 30 day return window. But mine have all been defective and not power with the proper voltage. I have tried to adjust the voltage, but I cannot get 12 V out of it no matter what I do. I would like a refund, but I’m not sure if I can get a refund since it’s outside the 30 day window.
