I am a recent medical graduate and this is helpful as I begin to take on new cases more independently. It fits very well in my scrub pocket and because it’s flexible, it moves with me. The spiral holder seems to be sturdy enough, good value for the money, and convenient. Lots of different colors too to differentiate topics if you need to!

My review is based on my personal use of these notepads, with pen, never with pencil. I keep one in my breast pocket, literally 24/7 everywhere I go, and am constantly bending and putting pressure on it.PROS:Durable - Maintains shape and physical properties.Metal spirals hold up to pressure and deformation, and I have not had a page slip out of them even once. The corners do not rip, split, dog-ear, or fray.I have found that the pages will curl if inserted into a pocket spiral-side up, but I always pocket them spiral-down with zero issues of this kind.Thick pages - I have accidentally bent, folded, and compressed these notepads, and the individual pages have not lost their appealing flexibility nor rigidity.Water-resistant - I have accidentally exposed these notepads to both splashes and puddles of water, and once allowed to dry they have completely recovered.CONS:Wide-spaced - In a cheap Walmart "Pen+Gear" 3"x5" Memo Book, there are 16 lines on which to write (not including the top and bottom margins). In this notebook, there are 11 such lines on which to write. There is enough extra space per line that, using a small-diameter pen, I have fit two lines of text on each line.Date slashes - On the top of each page there are two slashes, like in the format of Month/Day/Year.However, the position of the slashes switches sides depending on which face of each page you are writing on.This makes consistently dating and titling each page less straightforward.Front covers smudge - When writing on the front covers with anything - pencil, pen, sharpie - the writing will smudge off, leaving an undesirable trail and faded writing.CONCLUSION:The Cons of these notepads are not enough to outweigh the Pros, in my opinion and for my purposes.I will continue to use them until I begin to run out of the 48-pack, then I will consider my options.

I use these in a clinical setting while working with patients in they fit perfectly in my scrub pocket! I’m able to take some notes about different things without caring around my big chunky clipboard. Definitely would recommend as they are small enough to fit in a pocket or small purse.
