I used this to pad the inside of a bag i was using to transport a mini ITX pc for a carry on for a flight. It worked perfectly, I like how soft and dense the foam is and how nice it is for padding. It was super easy to cut to size. My only issue is that it stinks. It smells really bad out of the vacuum bag it comes in. Took a few days before the smell aired out

I maintain a fleet of portable generators (coleman, generac) and I cut these to size to use for the air filters. It's a whole lot cheaper and easier to get. Just cut to proper size and add some oil, you are good to go.

The foam sheets are vacuum packed and when the package is opened decompress to become 1†thick. I easily cut and shaped a sheet to fit my laptop case … I marked the shape I needed with a felt tipped pen and cut the foam with scissors … works well and looks good. Highly recommended!

Just as others have described, they arrive incredibly compact. Mine were compressed so tightly their combined width was less than half an inch. But as soon as I removed them from the vacuum-packed plastic wrap, they sprung up to their 1-inch depth. It was actually pretty cool to watch. I saw one review where the buyer said it took several days for the foam to expand, but mine did instantly to their full width.

I bought this to replace so pluck-and-puck foam I use in a Pelican case that protects photography gear. It is slightly more dense than the original foam which is good because I thought the original could be a little more dense. Sheet thickness is exactly 1" after giving it time to expand (overnight).

Product comes vacuum packed very flat. Cut sides from the factory don’t rebound to size and thickness is only 1-5/8†where it has rebounded.
