I am an avid hand written note taker, and i have a very heavy hand. Most notebook pages tend to rip while im taking notes, but never these ones! I've been using Decomposition books for the past 4ish years, and I dont think i could ever switch back to regular notebooks! I bought this notebook as a backup when i eventually fill up the pages of my two current Decomposition books, as I've already filled up two! I love the kittens in space pattern (I actually have a folder with this pattern!) so of course i had to get it! To be semi technical: The weight of the paper is heavy enough to prevent scratching through, but there is of course going to be denting in any paper if you have a heavy hand like me. The paper is very soft, easy to write on, and while the pages are a little small compared to other notebooks, they are perfect for smaller handwriting. While the price is high compared to basic college-ruled notebooks, the high quality paper, covers, ink, and eco-friendliness all make up for it in the end!

This is a basic, nice, 1-subject notebook with a very pretty cover. (I picked the Everglades one.) Expensive, but in fairness exactly as described. A Pilot-G2 doesn't bleed through to the next page, though you can still see the light outline of the words.Makes a nice journal.

I used this journal for my media law course, mostly to sit down and rewrite and copy down every slide so I could take additional notes during my lectures. The size and spacing was good, I ended up using the entire journal in one semester and had to order another after the midterm to continue my notes. It has a really good feel to it, like writing on good quality paper along with the really cute design. I also love that there is a section on the front, because I was able to write down which class I was using the journal for. Highly recommend these decomposition journals if you want something sturdy, cute, and better for the environment.

I love the style and look of this notebook. It’s also pretty durable even though it is just cardboard cover. Paper is thick but also thin at the same time. I used highlighters and it bled through the page. Not too much but w can definitely see where I highlighted on the other side. Super smooth paper is great for note taking and you get a lot of pages.

I've got quite a few of the bound decomposition books. this spiral bound one is great for writing while standing and walking around.
