Connect to your Dee Zee Auxiliary Tank (sold separately) to your vehicle's fuel line to refill your tank when needed. All hoses and mounting hardware included. Diesel fuel valve must be closed during vehicle operation and only opened to gravity feed the vehicle diesel tank during stops. Continuous fuel transfer to the vehicle tank may cause check engine alarms in newer vehicles. Some cutting may be required of the OEM fuel hose. Listed for diesel fuel operation only.

I have a Ram Mega Cab 4X4 Duelly. I cut and removed the original filler line just before where the pipe enters the factory tank. This adapter just fit the space. The adapter lays flat and allows for a 50 gallon aux tank to feed the main. I did install a solenoid gate valve at the tank in case a piece of trash got stuck in this adapter and held it slightly open. The adapter allows for gravity feed from the aux tank that is faster than the engine needs. No leaks.I also know the float stop in this product works because the top of my aux tank is much higher than the main tank filler/vent. While driving, I have left the electric gate valve open with both tanks full and this product did not allow the aux to overfill the main.Very satisfied with product.

Had my truck in the garage ready to go when the kit arrived today. Well, the original Dee Zee box was never taped or sealed for shipping. The simple flip top lid was open and all but one component of this kit was missing. Because somebody couldnt be bothered to put less than 1 cents worth of tape on the package I am now out at least 2 more days. You know, buying local does still have its advantages. In fairness, I will review the actual product when it arrives complete and is installed.Update..2nd kit arrived in a crushed, open, unsealed box but miraculously all parts were present. Kit is high quality and is performing nicely. I had shipping issues with both of these kits and with the Dee Zee tank itself. Here is the bottom line..they really do make quality merchandise, but then they give it to kindergartners for packaging and shipping.

Install was a bit complicated (cutting the fill line) and getting hose adapters onto fitting. Once installed it works great.

Overall not a bad kit but the valve is poor quality. I lost about $100 in fuel from it leaking [when open] and had to run on my truck tank only. I installed it only 8 months ago. Disappointing!

We had to return the first box as it was used & the valve was missing from the box. The hose was not twist tied, & the parts were lose in the box not in a bag…there was Teflon tape bits on threads. & I had a bad feeling when I seen the box was over taped shut. The box was bulging because it wasn’t put back correctly….The replacement box was perfect. Everything was packaged as a new box should be…it didn’t take long for the new box to arrive. .. we were installing a new fuel line & very thankful the delay was short lived. Everything fits very well. I was disappointed when I first tried to return it. Was hoping for just the valve that was missing. But we had to go through Amazon. I don’t like to return items. As I’m sure most of you don’t either. But Amazon made the process very easy. Just print off the return label 4 times. It says once but I put 1 on taped on the item box, then the Amazon box & one on the outside of the box. + keep a copy of the return label. Just to make sure…
