This trumpet lyre works great for holding marching music at a good distance from the player's eyes. It is sturdy, and the clamps keep the lyre locked in place. So far this has not done any damage at all to my horn. I don't march, so it might be different for marching band people. For non-marching use it works great.

I don't know exactly how to review this. It is a trumpet lyre. And it fits the trumpet we purchased it for. So job well done.

This lyre works and is great for ageing eyes and having to play outdoors while walking. It serves its purpose. I made one modification. I put a piece of electric tape on it where the front of the bell touches the flat surface. The clips do scratch the finish of the trumpet on the back side of the bell despite the rubber coating. Have not found a solution for this. However, this is much better than a lyre that clamps onto the lead pipe, for both distance and stability.

Flip folder was strong and easy to use. It is alittle tall to see over for the trumpet if you are short.

I’m using this for my marching baritone and it’s working great. I highly suggest getting larger rings but other than that everything works great

It is also a bit phlimsey. Otherwise, it is just ok.

This is fully capable of handling a digital hack for a chronic analog problem - the trumpet player slack of not having all the music printed!I recently purchased this for Friday night lights at my HS band reunion. Showtime, go-time, I downloaded the missing music to an 8†Fire tablet via phone hotspot and shoved it in the music sleeve FTW!In true GenX fashion, I left the page flipping for the previous and later generations and marched on.Thanks, DEG trumpet marching lyre, for making the old days new again!!!

My son used it for marching band. Easy to attach to trumpet. Does make the trumpet heavy on one end beacuse it attaches to the bell, but does serve its purpose.
