I use this instead of the bathroom fan in my bathroom because it doesn't do anything anymore. I got this, placed it on my counter and turn it on while taking a shower and it is a big help. The room isn't foggy, the mirror isn't steamy and the wet walls is no longer an issues. It's very quiet and I like that it has a sleep mode as well.

We live in a state that has a high level of humidity. It can make our home uncomfortable at times and leave our clothes and linen feeling damp. We got this dehumidifier to see if it could help. The dehumidifier does a good job. It lowers the humidity level in a room and makes it feel comfortable to be in. We set it up in our bedroom and closets. It does a good job of lowering the humidity level and keeps our linens and clothes feeling dry. The humidifier is easy to set up and work with. It has a decent size water tank that doesn't need to be emptied often. It is compact in size and lightweight, so it is easy to move around our house. The dehumidifier itself looks and feels like it is well made and solidly constructed. This dehumidifier has been a nice addition to my home's kit that does its job and does it well.

The design of this reall reminds me of a compact computer tower lol. It's quiet when its running and the option of different color lights is a nice feature. The light can also work as a nightlight while on since it's not very bright. The cord is medium length so not really an issue, but kinda wish it was a bit longer. Overall its worked well with no issues.

These thermoelectric dehumidifiers are ok for small spaces. Really small spaces. Closets, cabinets, gunsafes, bathrooms, RVs and campers, etc. But they have limitations. First, they are not very efficient. They use a lot more power for the amount of dehumidification they do compared to a compressor type. But if you need a really small space kept dry, they work pretty well because they can be really small.I have a lot of this type because I don't have HVAC in my house and I built the house partially earth bermed so it's a little more humid in the summer. I love them for what they are and they really help keep those small spaces dry while the few places I need to cool more than the natural cool the house has is taken care of by a normal window AC unit which also dries the air.But if you are going to take a really damp place of the 1000 sq ft like it claims and try to dry it out with one of these, forget it. This one has two thermoeletric elements so about the most I would expect it to really be able to handle for a moderately humid environment would be 200-300sq ft. Maybe up to 500 in a place that only needed a little help. If you need to dehumidify a larger space than that, you will be much better off with a standard compressor type. For those small spaces one of the ways it helps dry the space is by raising the temperature because higher temperatures have lower relative humidity so it does double duty: it does remove moisture, and the higher temperature due to it being not very efficient (the wasted electricity is given off as heat) helps keep items inside from becoming damp.

The 99oz water tank is large enough—it doesn’t fill up too quickly, so I’m not constantly emptying it.
