I bought the more expensive Delphi EGR valve because it was listed as made in USA. Box says it was made in China. Looks to be quality and seems to work well. Misleading item description ought to be updated.Edit: I have returned and purchased a different one. Only took 5 miles to throw a P0402 code. Don’t want to risk it reoccurring so it was returned. Installed on a 1998 Blazer.

Junk. Bought it in May after the factory one lasted 23 years and had issues ever since. Getting a p0401 insufficient exhaust gas recirculation 😒 i have no exhaust leaks and the map sensor is fine

High Quality. Clearly not any knockoff. Fit my '98 Tahoe perfectly. Included gasket.

This product was exactly what my car needed. It runs like a champ now. I'm very impressed with the quality of the product and expect it to outlast my car (which already has 140k miles). However, some of the comments left by others have mentioned that an EGR gasket was included. It is not. When paying over $100 for a mechanical part that requires a gasket, the supplier should just include one in the box. Even a cheap, paper-based gasket is better than nothing. I shouldn't have to spend another $1.50 for a gasket. The product description should say that a gasket isn't included and one is required.

Bought this Delphi EGR valve from Rockauto a year ago to fix the p1406 (pintle position error) on my 97 5.0 Silverado. It worked for about 2-3 weeks then the p0401 (insufficient EGR flow) code kept coming. I almost pulled the intake to make sure the passages were clear. After reading many reviews, it seems to be a common issue with this valve. I thought I'd try another one from Amazon but it lit up the CEL upon starting (sent it back immediately). Save yourself the trouble and find a NOS GM or AC Delco, they are out there. I found one on Ebay and no trouble since the factory part install.

Easy peasy. Make sure you follow vehicle install procedures and unplug the negative terminal before starting.

Not sure if the part I got was fake or not. The part failed within 2 weeks. I cleared the code and installed. The code came back after two weeks of light driving. I bought one from Autozone. The code has not repeated for over a year now.
