THIS SENSOR IS GREAT FOR MY 1997 F-250 HD WITH THE 7.3 DIESEL MOTOR. TRIED F7TZ-12KO73B AND F4TZ-12KO73C THEY FIT BUT MY TRUCK RAN REAL ROUGH, TRY THE NEW TYPE NO GOOD, SO I WENT BACK TO THE OLD STYLE SENSOR TRUCK RUNNING GREAT. THE NUMBER IS: F7TZ-12KO73A.

The cps that I received is the same grey cps that Ford issues for the recalls. It is NOT the black one pictured with the big magnet like the original for the 7.3 powerstroke that everyone wants. It works as expected but just not the one in the picture so know this before buying,

I bought this purely based on the price point and it has worked great since day one. I have since bought a spare and keep it in the glove box. This one can be rebuilt as well if you have the time.

this was my last hope for a functional cam sensor - you can only imagine the disappointment. installed, started and ran , drove 15 miles, 15 miles and had to tow the truck home. And of course - the packaging states quite clearly - non returnable if opened. sadly it has to be opened to be installed. The search shall continue.

The part is what I ordered and arrived in 2 business days. It is the real OEM part and bolted right on the block. I had a Auto Zone sensor on there before but only lasted about 35K miles. Expecting longer service and the price was right. Gotta love Made in America too!!!

It lasted 39 days. I ended up getting stranded in front of a International truck center and they had a CPS for $90, In 30 minutes I was back on the road. Your better off just buying a part from International if your running a powerstroke engine, not ford or here.

Poor quality sensor. Lasted approximately 7,000 miles and left me stranded. Extremely disappointed. Replaced it with a Ford OEM Cam Position Sensor.
