It sits at the front-lower portion of the motor and the pumps are lever-operated. An internal diaphragm draws fuel from the tank through lines running the length of the vehicle and pushes the fuel into the carburetor.

Pump worked for a total of 1 hour. Car barely out of the garage. And it stopped pumping fuel. Of course the warranty is only 30 days. I'm at 60. Buyer beware. Cheap parts and not good parts. Good parts are not cheap!

If you're looking for a low pressor pump 3PSI this, is it the last replacement was 5PSI and flooded my carb overriding my needle and seat made it hard starting when warm. make sure you use longer push rod.

I liked this product as it closely matches original type fuel pumps from the '60's and '70's. It came with proper gaskets and fit well.

Great replacement fuel pump for my 1967 VW Bug that has a 1600 Dual Port engine in it with the original generator. This fuel pump is for VW cars that have a generator. This pump came with a new base gasket and with only 2 bolts and 2 fuel hoses to remove made the installation very fast. Worked perfectly - I would definitely purchase this pump.

Ya no se consigue la bomba mecanica bocar pero está es de excelente calidad mi vocho es 1991 con encendido electrónico y le funcionó perfecto
