I bought this because in doing a bathroom remodel my senior citizen mom was very concerned that I install a universal height toilet and a grab bar near it. She already uses the window ledge to help her up and wanted something on the other side. This does the trick. Plus I actually like the design. And the way you open it to replace the toilet role is much more convenient than other styles. Good heavy attractive chrome works well in. my contemporary black and white bath.

This should be in every bathroom. My mom had a stroke and had injured her back. We got this installed and it has been a life saver. It looks like a really nice looking toilet paper holder but installed correctly(wood secured backing in the wall), she can pull herself with ease, giving her more independence. Changing the toilet paper is so easy to change and can be changed single handed.

I made the right choice in purchasing this assist and TP dispenser. Good looking and sturdy. It has to be installed properly so that when used, it will support a person’s weight. Mine was installed in a newly remodel bathroom on a reinforced wall. It easily supports my weight when I use it to lift off. I feel secure when using it. Very nice looking and easy to replace the TP.

Really liked the idea of a dual purpose item, we love the towel/grab bar by Delta. We had to return this item due to size. The toilet space in our bath is barely 30 inches, and this sticks out several inches, making it an elbow hazard. We had to return to the recessed holder we had before.

I LOVE these toilet paper holder/grab bar! My contractor installed them exactly where I need them to be so I can use them to assist in rising from the toilet. I have MS, so that is an issue. Would be great for people with knee issues or hip issues, or aging in place. Install into studs and you will have a very sturdy grab bar.

These are an excellent design! We have them installed in our home so the grab bar is attached to a wall stud for strength. Easy to use.

Our toilet is located in a small separate little room off the main bath. We used to use the doorknob on the door to help ourselves up. To make the space more accessible and give us a 34 inch wide opening, we removed the door and surrounding framing, so needed something on the other wall where the toilet paper holder was. to just give us a hand and help with balance.This was a perfect replacement for the standard toilet paper holder. Instead of having to have an additional Grab Bar added to the wall above the existing TP holder, this Assist Bar/Holder combination fit the bill in an unobtrusive way without cluttering up the space.Purchased "Open Box' from Amazon Warehouse at a discount, and the item is perfect. Will not hesitate to do that again.

The side TP roller wasn’t working out for my mom’s hygiene care because of the enormous size of the toilet attachment which helps my mom lift herself off the commode. This TP holder is great. All my mom needs to do is stretch a little to reach it. No more accidents.
