I'm glad this kit was available on Amazon! I didn't have to buy a new faucet! This was the right kit for our faucet. It's important to compare your old parts with pictures of these new ones before ordering. Also important to note that your left and right cartridges are not identical. The two holes in the metal part at the bottom are in different places. When you remove the first cartridge from your faucet, match it with the new cartridge that is the same on the bottom. Hold the two (old and new) top parts together in the same positions so they match and then see if the two holes in the bottom ends of the old and the new are in the same position. If not, look at the other cartridge. Put the new spring down in place after removing the old one. The spring has a wide end and a narrower end. The wide end goes down, and the narrow end goes into the rubber part. (Verify this when you remove your old spring. See if its wide end was down.) Actually this is the only way you can put it in without damaging the rubber part. The narrow end fits easily into the rubber part. With the spring in place, put the rubber part down over the spring. It's a little tricky to get the rubber part seated down over the new spring and fully into the hole where it belongs in the faucet seat. You have both pieces in right when there is just a little springiness when you gently press down on the rubber part. I used a stick the size of the small hole in the rubber part to hold it in line over the spring while I pressed the edges gently into the hole in the seat in the faucet. My old cartridges had brass stems, but these should be fine with normal quarter turn operation, off to on. Brass would have made cost higher. Happy to find a good faucet repair kit for under $10! Glad the faucet shuts off again and works smoothly. Yay!

I was experiencing a leak from the hot water valve, the left one. Turned the water off to the faucet and removed the knob and the brass bonnet that holds the cartridge in place. I noticed that the bonnet had developed a fare amount of corrosion on the threads making it hard to remove. I have learned over the years when dealing with old plumbing issues that you will more than likely have to replace the entire fixture. I decided to see if repair could be made just changing out the O rings around the cartridge. That did not work due to the size matching of the rings. I then replaced the left hot water cartridge and the rubber seat and spring. That helped but the old bonnet had a hairline crack in it. Note, that I wasted a lot of time going to the local hardware store. The fix came when I decided to see if Amazon had something that would work. Sure enough this item had everything I needed. Remember there are just few manufacturers of plumbing parts. My utility sink faucet was from Home Depot and the image on the Amazon page looked identical to the cartridge and bonnet. I placed the order and the very next day it arrived at my door. Due to my multiple times of turning water off and removing the cartridge it only took five minutes to complete the task. Everything was a perfect fit and I am so very pleased!

This seemed like the perfect replacement, everything fitted great in my peerless bathroom sink faucets except there was an extra bar in the white plastic part that stopped the faucet handle from sitting back completely. So all these parts are great if you needed to replace seals etc but the top white plastic part of the cartridge did not fit my peerless faucet.

It works fine but the original as the middle part in metal this one is in plastic so it’s a bit cheaper

As mentioned in the comments, I too had to buy this kit for the screw door bolt only as the original bolt corroded and broke.. There is no replacement parts at the hardware store and i was not going to by a brand new faucet. This saved the day by $27 for a bolt is expensive but i guess worth it.

The bonnet nut cracked on my sink - that's the nut that holds the water cartridge in place. I went to every store in town, as well as a plumbing supply warehouse and no one have a bonnet nut in stock - most places didn't even know what it was. This kit had the parts I needed, and my sink is holding tight 7 days later.
