Worked on my delta two handle bathroom faucet. Stopped the leak and was easy to install. Read all the reviews and they are correct, saved money without using a plumber who quoted me $175.00 to rebuild, to do what I did myself with only this stem. My handle was leaking when I turned it on. I simply swapped out the stem and stopped the leak. Warning, There is only one stem in the package. I thought there would be two for the price, like other ones that are all plastic sold on Amazon that also include replacement washer and spring. I guess you pay more for the metal stem and delta official replacement part. No washer or spring included. The washer and spring goes underneath the stem FYI.

Right OEM part for the job. Watched YouTube for guidance on how to replace. Took only a few minutes. Only complication was the spring and seat popped out when I pulled the old cartridge. Glad the sink stopper was closed as pointed out in the video.

Our house was built in 2004 and so the rough in kit is an older model. The builder did not make an access panel to the pipes so we purchased a Delta trim kit to update the Roman tub faucet. The cold water handle has leaked only while it’s on for the last 4 years so my husband tried changing this part to hopefully stop the leaking without having to cut a hole in the side of the tub. Luckily it worked so we ordered a second one for the hot handle and it was an inexpensive and easy fix for our issue.

Is the OEM brand replacement! Looks like the real thing. Feels like the real thing. Needed three more of these for our bathroom sinks and found these at Amazon. Did the job. Easy to install. So glad we were able to find them. Priced the same as in the hardware store. Highly recommend. Is the OEM Replacement! Highly recommend it!

I purchased a plastic faucets stem assembly from Home Depot that was not made by Delta, but was listed to work for my Delta faucet. The stem piece was plastic and there was a gap between the stem and the plastic curved pieces that go around it (the stops). It worked to turn on and off the water, but the handle was not sturdy once reassembled. I could flex it back in forth, either because of the plastic stem or the gap.I purchased this Delta assembly from Amazon and it worked perfectly. Very easy to install and it makes the handle feel sturdy. Since it worked and I knew it was an easy DIY project, I called Delta to send me parts for the rest of my leaking faucets (the entire house is Delta). They were great and sent them to me for free.It was worth it to me to purchase one assembly to make sure it was something I wanted to tackle. Also, the Delta RP24096 is the same stem as this RP25513. The 25513 comes with the plastic stop that you need to put into the correct position depending upon if you are installing the stem on the hot or cold tap (YouTube has some good videos). The assembly that you are removing will have the stop and you can reuse it if you purchase the RP24096. When I ordered, the RP25513 was less expensive than the RP24096. Prices can change often. You can order either part so pick the one that costs the least at the time of ordering.

Until they do... and when that happens, you'll want to get an original Delta replacement. Plumbing is a pain, and it's not a place where you want to cut corners. Fortunately, Delta makes it fairly easy to swap these out.

I have a 2004 Delta Two Handle Bathroom Faucet Victorian Collection model #3555. Not be confused with the newer model 35955. The HW tap was leaking from under the bell of the handle when the CW tap was turned on.I suspected I needed to change out the stem cartridge and seal/spring give the age of the faucet. So, I just did both as opposed to testing each separately.Tracking down the parts was somewhat easy once I identified the faucet model, however, I did run into problems which I will get to in a second.YOU NEED TO BE VERY SPECIFIC AS TO THE DELTA MODEL NUMBER AND YEAR. Even though the Victorian model looks exactly the same through the 2000’s, the replacement part numbers can be different. I found this out when I ordered what I thought to believe was the correct seat/spring #RP10700. When in fact, it was the RP4993.For my faucet, 2004 #3555STEM/CARTRIDGE: RP 24096 (this is mostly consistent across most of the #3555 years)SEAT/SPRING: RP 4993 (this in NOT consistent across many of the #3555 and depends upon year)I ordered from Amazon and Delta parts, not knockoffs.RP 25513. This includes ONE Stem/Cartridge (RP24096) plus the ¼ turn stop (RP24097).RP 8230. This includes ONE Stem/Cartridge (RP24096) plus the seat/spring (RP10700)So, looking at all the costs, I ordered Qty 2 of the RP25513 plus Qty 1 of the RP10700 (2 seats & springs).PROBLEM: When I changed everything out for the HW tap only (I left the CW tap alone as there were no leaking), the leaking stopped BUT the faucet started dripping when I turned on the HW supply valve. After “googling†the problem, the issue was likely the Seat/Spring. I had ordered the incorrect part RP10700 when in fact the RP4993 was needed.Interesting enough, when I removed the original, the seat spring I pulled out looked to be the RP10700. When I checked the CW tap (which had no leaks), the seat/spring appeared to be the RP4993, so I took a chance and ordered it. Voila, it was the right part and both the leaking and dripping has stopped and I’m done!!

My house was built around 2007 and the tub handles were leaking a bit - I replaced the stem assembly and bought the recommended seal/spring set to replace those as well. Repair worked perfectly and have given the tub new life.
