I'd struggled finding the official Toto replacement cartridge, and where I found it it was obscenely expensive. This solved the odor issue with my Washlet that I couldn't get rid of no matter how much I cleaned.

I did so much research to find out why my Toto toilet had an odor, and it all talked about the side deodorizing filter which is washable plastic. Didn’t make sense that the odor came from there. Why does no one tell us that there is another cartridge on the back side of the washlet?Move the washlet forward and look for a vented grate on the back right side- that leads to a carbon filter and that was the problem. The stinky old cartridge had been there for two years. No wonder it smelled! Thank God I found the right replacement on Amazon! I don’t know why Toto doesn’t tell you there are two filters!

My Toto Washlet had begun to have a funky smell that no amount of cleaning would fix. I scoured the internet and it's a common problem. I wasn't made aware of the filter until I found a YouTube video about changing it out! I ordered these, changed them out and no more funky smell!!! These arrived quickly, just as described. According to the video, they need to be changed every 6 months or so.

This is a cheap knockoff. It will fit in the housing, but it is half the size of the original. Definitely deceptive selling practice to mention the original part number.

I always bought the original Toto filters but this time, tried this one. It's less expensive but works just as good to clear the odor in my Washlet.

When I first opened the box, I noticed that the filter was a little dusty. Nothing a little wipe can’t take care of.I compared the size with my previous TOTO Filter. Although there were slight size differences, this filter was a good match.***see picture for comparison***This filter fit snug into my C100 TOTO seat.The filter seems to work well and deodorizes the toilet air.
