I wasn't expecting to find a Navy USNA tie. This is really nice. Very soft and very well made. The colors are perfect (blue and gold). The accent of the Navy N is very nice and understated. This tie can be used in more formal events as it is not tacky or very loud. I highly recommend it as the price is lower than the actual midshipmen store.

I was excited to receive this tie as I'm an alum and have tons of Academy swag around my house. This is a pretty well-made tie with solid machine stitching in the back and two loops for securing the tail. It's all polyester and pretty thick so if you tie Windsors, you'll have your work cut out for you. I took one star off for that because it doesn't need to be this thick. Old salts used to a Four-in-Hand will be right at home, though. I wore this to the Army-Navy game this year and got a compliment or two from other alums as I had my sport coat open and the logos were readily visible. One thing, while the company selling this tie may be American, this tie is made in China. That why I took the other star off. I don't like American resellers writing ads that make their product appear to be Made-in-America.I can't complain about the quality and I think it'll hold up to being tied and untied for years. Being polyester, it'll also clean up well if you spill on it. It's very reasonably priced, too. So, if you can get past it being a tie celebrating a US service academy but made in China, it's a good buy.Anyway, Go Navy, Beat Army!

As a USNA grad, I loved the opportunity to review this tie. It is a good tie, looks nice and is well made with good stitching and two loops on the back. It is not what I would consider a crisp tie but rather one with some depth and thickness to it. The polyester cloth feels good and the tie feels substantial. I could certainly see wearing this to any alumni oriented event or even as a midshipman in a semi-formal/casual setting. Expect the knot to be larger/looser and the dimple more pronounced... alumni will get that. Beat Army!

It's hard to show the quality of the tie in pictures.The tie is solid in both feel, color and construction. The emblem (N-star and "Navy") is stitched and good quality.The length is good.The appearance is good.The quality is good.Great find and great tie.
