The "Design Toscano Industrial Age Mantel Clock" came well-packaged, with no damage. There are some differences in appearance compared to the reference image used in the Amazon listing (see photos):The color of the frame appears darker, with a finish more dark bronze than brass.The top curved band is rather clumsily and inelegantly fastened to the clock (see photo).The back cover of the clock is held by a small tack, and swings loosely (not confidence-inspiring).The internal clock mechanism has a plastic outer cover which is extremely flimsy; be very careful not to crack it when inserting or removing a battery.Of course, this is generally a set-and-forget item (until the battery runs out), and from a distance it looks pleasant. The clock face is large enough to be seen from across a medium size room, and for the price it's not a bad value.

This clock was purchased for a small conference room to allow me to, subtly, monitor the meeting's length. The clock face is readable and the design appropriate -- and it keeps good time.

I love his Mantel Clock. We placed it above our fireplace, and it has drawn all kinds of compliments from everyone that's seen it. The clock has a unique, almost steampunk vibe, that really stands out. It can fit almost any décor, with it's throwback styling, mixed with a contemporary feel.

Nice design. The quality is a little questionable. From a distance it looks OK, but close up it appears plastic. I gave it a four because the quality is good (not breaks, sharp edges and everything works)

The timepiece itself had plastic face and already had scratches on it. Although I liked the style, I was disappointed about the scratches. However, since it was inexpensive and going through the hassle of returning and repackaging was not worth the bother.

This is a big clock--bigger than it looks in the photo-- and the frame around it makes it even bigger. But it feels kind of flimsy and light. The metals used in its construction are pretty thin. If you like the style and have a big room and/or mantle then this could work for you.

diese Uhr hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Schon die Lieferzeit ist anstatt Februar 2018 schon im September 2017 erfolgt, ich hätte aber gewartet, da ich etwas besonderes haben wollte. die Uhr ist sehr rustikal, groß und darum eignet sich für einen größeren Raum, Wintergarten oder auf die Tarrasse (mit Schutz gegen Regen)
