I host live trivia and rock ‘n roll bingo at bars, breweries, and cigar bars. It is a giant pain to hold the mic the entire show, and I dislike the scratchy click or slight feedback that you hear if I constantly press the on/off on the mic to mute while I work the program on my laptop. I had hoped this stand would help me just keep the mic on and if I had to mute, I could just turn the mic so it wasn’t pointing right at me. Works like a champ, and the post comes unscrewed from the base in less than 10 seconds of turning so that I can essentially pack it flat in my mic bag. I like that the round bottom part of the stand is weighted so that it doesn’t tip over no matter how I have the mic positioned. I place it on the bar top or table I’m seated at in each venue, so I don’t need to extend it, but it does extend for maybe a taller DJ/Host. Anyway, it’s a great, solid, easy to use and disassemble product…especially for the money. Highly recommend!

It's so sturdy, with 100% good quality. Yes, it was unbelievably cheap, but its performance it's the same as an expensive one. Fits right on my small table 🥰 and it's weight! One will think it cost alot. Easy set up and 100% the best performance you can experience.

The weight on the stand is good but if your mic weighs a lot or your mic is long you might need to put something so it weighs it down.

I would spend a bit more. The base is all plastic and it sounds like there is sand inside to give it a bit of weight. The post is made of metal and actually feel somewhat sturdy. After screwing in the post to the base, the post has some flex to it, likely because of the cheap plastic base. I returned mine since the plastic threads on the base were stripped.

Bought two of these to hold some small condenser room mics at our church. Price was reasonable and they seem well-built. My only complaint is that one of them was covered with a white powder when I unpackaged it. I assume it was the plaster.or whatever they use to add weight to the base. No big deal. Wiped it off and it seems fine. The spring clips that came with the stands seem durable and able to accommodate a wide range of mic sizes.

Don't think your gonna buy this and put a shure sm7b or large NT1 condenser type mic on it. It's very small, very PLASTIC and won't handle much at all. Mine rocks on level surfaces and would easily keep over with a bigger mic on it. It'll work only for small handhelds like a 57/58 easy. I feel like I overpaid for the quality of this thing honestly.

I ordered a gooseneck desk clamp mic holder that didn't quite work for me. This little desk top mic works great for me so far. It's light when it was delivered I thought is something missing like the base as I used to have a very heavy mic holder with a cast iron base but this is great for using in an RV where weight can be critical. Now if you are going to put a fairly heavy mic in this it may not work for you I'm using a Rode NGT2 which is a fairly light shotgun mic and that's also where the clamp style mic holder comes in as the former mic stand mic holder was too large for my mic.I'll be using this mic stand for voice overs and more in my You Tube videos.
