I only use gopros to film my videos since I love the small size of those cameras. I wasn't sure that this teleprompter would work because no gopros have an adapter ring on the camera itself. I had to look on amazon to see if they made a cage for the gopro 10 (the gopro 9 will work too since they both are the same size) to mount an adapter. I found one, an aluminum cage made by ulanzi. It had a 52 mm adapter mount on the front so I then checked to see if this teleprompter had a matching adapter in the kit and it does. I went ahead and ordered it.I have an iphone 11 pro max and with a case on it, it will not fit in the phone holder. Taking the case off it barely fits but I got it in without damaging my phone or the teleprompter. I use the teleprompter app (premium) in the app store and the little bluetooth remote control that comes with this teleprompter, (while finicky) does work with that app.I mounted my 10 in the ulanzi cage, used the 52mm ring that came with the teleprompter and put everything together. It was very easy to do and everything mounted securely. After some adjustments with the teleprompter app itself I can now read what I type while still looking directly at the camera lens.I might try the tablet mount side so that I can at least leave the case on my phone.Either way I am very satisfied with this unit. I paid around $58 for it and I see the price has increased to $90. I think it's still worth it even at that price but I am glad I paid $58 for it.The entire unit is made of plastic but seems to be well made. The adapter rings are made of metal. It has a cover for the back hole and for the front glass so you can keep it clean when not in use. When looking at the footage I record thru the glass, I don't see any distortion in the footage. As long as you keep the glass clean you shouldn't have any issues. It's not perfect but it definitely works for my needs and I am very happy with my purchase. It is small so if you like to be far from your camera this might not work for you.

I got this because it said it was usable with a regular sized iPad. I even measured mine to make sure it met the specifications. It supposedly did. But when I set it up, my iPad Air was a bit too wide.I made do by balancing my iPad on foam boards in front of the teleprompter to get it high enough. The words were a bit too wide in the suggested app and couldn't all fit on the teleprompter screen so I ended up opening a second screen and then focusing the teleprompter on the 2/3 of the screen I wanted, and it worked fine. The speed control had a learning curve, but for the price this was an amazing improvement over trying to memorize a script and deliver it perfectly in one take. We did about 8 videos in a few hours, some on the first take, something that would have been an all day project the old way.

Pleasantly surprised by its functionality. Do not attach directly to your DSLR camera lens. Although extremely light weight, the doenward pressure of the prompter on the lens will cause focus issues. Instead use a video or still photography light stand to prop the teleprompter in front of the lens. Teleprompter has 1/4-inch threads to attach to light stand.

I have this basically set up at all times for my camera. I just slide out the thing and put my ipad there and i'm good to go. It works well for my lighting. Not sure I would pay the full price but I got it on a sale.

1) This package was not shrink-wrapped. Obviously, it had been previously opened.2) There were missing parts. Obviously, it had been previously opened.3) The instructions were incomprehensible.Summary: Don't buy this cheap, flimsy product. Buy a quality product instead. Don't waste your time and energy.

The "instructions" to fit the hood over your camera consist of two images so small you can barely tell how to do it. Then, i went back to the listing to watch the video and found out I did it WRONG. Apparently, you're supposed to screw the mounting disk into the front of your camera lens. I've got a Nikon z50 with a 16-50mm lens and NONE of the adapters fit. I ended up reversing the mounting ring and sort of forcing it around the barrel of the lens to finally find one that would fit, but knowing that I'm basically rigging something up doesn't instill confidence.Further, I've got a iPhone 13 proMax that I wanted to use as my teleprompter. It's too big (in its silicone case) to fit in the phone mount, so I had to use the tablet mount... where it's too small. But at least it will rest there without much issue. It's just not SECURED in the mount holder because it's too small.I'll still probably use it until I can afford to upgrade because it's got a clear screen and the teleprompter app works fine, but I wouldn't say it's very intuitive. I couldn't download it from the app store using the QR code in the instruction manual, though. I had to search for it instead.By the time I got this far in setting everything up, I was too frustrated to bother with finding batteries to test the remote.

The Desview T3 Teleprompter is a durable, portable and versatile unit. It comes securely packaged in an attractive retail box, with the remote, shading ring and a set of adapter rings. The unit feels very durable and well made so it should last for a long time. The teleprompter is very easy to use, with a simple interface that allows me to input and scroll through my script with ease. It is also very portable, with a lightweight and compact design that makes it easy to take with me wherever I go.One of the great things about this unit is its compatibility. The teleprompter is compatible with a wide range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops, so I can use it with the device that is most convenient for me. The teleprompter is also very easy to set up, with a simple mounting system that allows me to attach it to my camera or tripod in just a few minutes. It is also very affordable, especially considering its features and performance. Overall, I am happy with the T3 teleprompter. It is well-made, portable, and affordable, and it makes it easy to deliver results. Full marks from me!

I've been using this since the end of 2022 and A LOT in 2023/2024. It's fantastic. After trying a few others, I found this one is perfect for me. It's not great outdoors because it lacks the side pieces but it's great indoors. And best in a darker room. It can get a little glare if it's light but I haven't found that impedes with anything. It's pretty durable and worth the $!

The good:- Great range of rings, although 43 mm for my camcorder was not included- Outside of ring is 84 mm which are compatible with the filter holder, so if you are using cooking style filters you may not even have to use the rings- Holds the phone or tablet firmly- App is simple, but sufficient.- App installs on older device too.The bad:- Remote is average quality. I have trouble making it reconnect after it has been paired. I was able to make it work a couple of times, but that is less than perfect. When it worked, it was OK.- There is no solid locking of the back ring, only some snap that will be fine for the cap or foam shading ring. I want to get my camcorder clip safely on the teleprompter, and screw the teleprompter on a tripod because the camcorder is lightweight.- There is no bracket for the back, a bracket would allow a more delicate device to be mounted, not all DSLR have a lens that can support the weight of a tablet. What else you may need:- Adapter ring if you fall outside the provided rings- A friend to align the camera, left right will be natural, by top/bottom framing requires some preview- Or you get a monitor screen to help with the framing.- You do NOT want ceiling light as they show on your tablet.- The back cover screw on the 49 mm ring, if you want to keep the 49 mm on your rig, you may wish to get either a cap for another size or another ring.- Obviously camcorder/cell/tripod/lightsThe teleprompter may not fit all your needs, but for a lot of use case it is pretty good.
