This hoop did not stay together even after I could hear the clip snap into the slot during use the hoop came apart.

Easy to assemble but difficult to disassemble. It's hard to locate the button and then I have to use force to pull it apart. It's very sturdy though and feels like I can use it for a very long time with no issue.Not sure how effective it is but will try it out. When I first used it, I assembled all the parts for the full weight. I learned the hard way that this hula hoop isn't like the standard ones and it hurts. I'm not sure if going for a smaller weight would be better but it did cause me to bruise in the beginning. Since then it's been fine but a warning for beginners that you should take it easy.

I’ve been told by my cardiologist to MOVE. So I’m trying different exercises to get in my moves. At 60 hula hooping can be a challenge. I’m persistent so this has caused me to laugh at myself. At least I get to bend over a lot as I pick it up! Squats! Lol

No matter what I do, I cannot get this to stay together. It clicks into place and a couple of times going around it gives way and one or two of them release. I have another brand I have used for over a year and my friend has it so I decided to buy another one of a different brand. What a mistake. Not sure if I will keep trying to get it to click together or I may just send it back as it's no use to me when it doesn't work. If it does stay clicked together I will remove this post.

The hula hoop has a nice feel to it, seems durable but, is extremely heavy even using only 6 of the sections. Very hard to keep on the waist and when it falls, it hits your knees, or ankles and is very painful. For this reason I have returned this hula hoop.
