This item is very well made.1. Unlike the similar products from other manufacturers, the springs are very strong and the two handles are made of heavy duty metal. The handles are actually casted in one piece with no seams or connections so chance of it gets broken is very low.2. It comes with 7 springs. I like how the springs can be attached or detached according to your personal needs. Currently my middle school son is using three only.Highly recommended!

The springs stretch out after just one use, in the photo you can see the unused springs vs the now useless, stretched out springs.*Increasing to 4 stars because excellent customer service, seller refunded immediately and sent me another set that works much better

The expander is a solid product strong springs but needs to be used as descried at first I tried using 3-4 springs but wasn't strong enough so I went with only 1 spring attached yes it was wayyy easier but I damaged the spring, now it's too stretchered always use 3 or more springs even at start . just don't go heavy at first take it easy on the shoulders .

the springs are good and the handle's durability is goodsome complains i have:the handles are too thick and have no nurling, they also could be lighterthe hollow part of the hollow is small you cant use a palm grip or put the handle onto something like a barbell which can be secured in place and are common in gymthe metal attachment rings on the handles can be difficult to open sometimesnot a complaint but always keep the springs evenly stretched if you put the middle of the spring against something and then pull the other ends the middle of the spring is not as streched and you risk deforming the spring

This chest expander is so well made. It has some heft to it, feels incredibly solid and the resistance levels are amazing! Highly recommend.

i've been lifting for almost 7 weeks now and i can only manage to pull like 2 springs on any given movement with this thing, i think i'll be able to get some mileage out of this for quite awhile.

The springs are better than my old set of chest expanders and i like this type of attachment at the end of the springs (the springs didn't last well at all on my last set but these seem more robust). The handles are decent quality if not a little thick to grip easily. The handles have no ability to rotate under your grip, so they can hurt the hands a little - i use my old handles. Overall I'm happy but if these were my first set of chest-expanders and I didn't have alternate handles, I'd be less enthusiastic.

So I decided to have a quick test run with two springs on the basic pull apart exercise. Both springs permanently stretched out longer than the others and one with a kink in it due to the hyperextension across my chest. I couldn't manage to get the rest of the springs to the same resting length. Sure it's cheap but it won't last. If you can I would suggest spending on Robert Barabans high quality version which will last a lifetime. The rotating handles on Roberts makes a huge difference on the wrists also.
