Great item, I did not realize when purchasing that this item did not come with the mortise cylinder. After purchasing those for all of our doors, everything works as described. We have had them installed for a few weeks now and everything is good so far. I am happy with this item for the price.

It works. Horrible vague directions and I had to buy the bottom lock (DETEX 102281-7 MORTISE CYLINDER) and sensor (943WG-WH - Ademco Miniature Surface Contacts) from other vendors on Amazon. Other than that, after I figured it out, it installed easy and it does work. Took away a star because the directions are terrible. A cheap easy solution that does work.

Had an emergency door without an alarm so I ordered this one. It came fast and was exactly what I needed. Installed easy and instructions were good. Definitely buy again when needed.
