Got tired of asking the teenager to close the kitchen door. My blood pressure has gone way down since installing this!!! I recommend this for anyone who is tired of closing doors lol

This item did it’s job of closing the door- but I couldn’t find a way to get it to close without slamming. I put bumpers in the jam to help. Installed fairly easily-but it wasn’t sensitive enough to adjust to get rid of the slamming. Ended up with a spring loaded hinge.

It was super easy to install & good quality for under $10. It works well with having multiple pets that range from 10-30 lbs. They can go in & out without an issue without fully closing the door with the option of it being able to.

Works perfect for garage, I dont push my door to latch so my dog can push his way in and the door closes behind him

I put one of the closers on a hollow core bedroom door without a latch. The idea was to keep the cats out of the room, but with my first attempt at a setting, one cat quickly discovered she could head butt it open with little difficulty. Then it closed behind her trapping her in the area we DON'T want her to poop in. So I tried to rotate the lever a couple positions to get more force -- which caused something inside the closer to fail, so it made a scraping sound as it turned, and the closing force was less than before. We have similar, but considerably more expensive and obviously better made closers from Home Depot on our porch doors (Prime-Line KC10HD), and they work fine. I can recommend those, but sadly not these.
