Exactly what I was looking for. It looks great also and doesn't take much space. Love the wheels to move around easily. A bit of a challenge to assemble but it can get done. It is sturdy and looks good. I do recommend!

It takes some time to put together but its good quality and I really enjoy how it looks and the storage it gives.

Sturdier than I except but decent for the price. I like the lock and key but it’s not a high security system let’s be honestly. Beautiful design however the instructions were very hard to put together. (Could have done a better job labeling hardware)Too an hour to put this little guy together.

take your time and study the pictures. Seems to be a nice cabinet. I think it will do for what I need it for.

The product works great looks good and everything. But after I assembled it my wife decided that she wasn't really going to use it in her office she would just give it to someone else and that upset me off because it was really hard to build

I didn't pay but $50 for it, so I guess I understand, but it's fairly low quality. It uses cams to secure most things in place, which I find to never be particularly sturdy. The chipboard it was made with was so cheap that screwing the cams into it caused it to crack and fall apart. I got it together but the drawers don't line up the same way, causing a gap on opposite sides on each. I also don't like how the bottom drawer has low sides. I guess it's for files but what if I wanted to use it for something else?There's better alternatives to cams, which part of this does actually use - plastic screw holes embedded into the chipboard. I wish it used that for everything.All in all I think I would've rather paid an extra $20-$30 for something else that all fit together a little nicer. I don't think this piece of furniture would survive a move, for instance. But it also isn't so flimsy I feel like it will fall apart from daily use.

The first time I received this cabinet, I inventoried the parts, of which there were MANY, to make sure everything needed to assemble the cabinet was included. It was not. I was missing 2 parts. Amazon was kind enough to send me another cabinet, advising me to use it for the missing parts in the first shipment. The second cabinet arrived with several pieces damaged and one of the SAME missing parts, "R-2" of the R category. In fact, the bag holding the R parts was punctured in the same place, presumably for this missing part, which is needed for the locking mechanism.Note, before I contacted Amazon the first time, I reached out directly to Devaise, requesting that they send the missing parts. To date, I have received no reply, not even an acknowledgement that my email was received. What's more, the second time around, taking a closer look at the parts, I noticed that they were poorly made and would, in my estimation, damage easily as one attempted to put it together.Final words of advise regarding the purchase of a file cabinet: stay away from wood. Stick with metal (steel, etc).

I wanted to write a review primarily because of so many reviews on this product discussing assembly. I put this together myself (female, if it matters) in about 2 hours, taking my time. If you pay attention to the images/orientation of things/holes, it really is pretty simple. Yes there are a lot of pieces, but the instructions and pieces are all labeled well to prevent confusion. I am very happy with how it turned out - my drawers all close flush with the sides and it looks great. It seems sturdy and will get the job done in my home office to help organize things a bit for me. Don’t let the reviews about long & difficult assembly scare you! Just pay attention with each step - all the holes should fit up perfectly. If they don’t, take a step back and evaluate because you likely have something oriented incorrectly.
